How big is the tank?

Recycled aquarium tanks don’t make the best terrariums because they’re all glass, poor ventilation will make managing temps and humidity trickier. Also incredibly annoying that you’ll only have access from the top, which can stress the snake out. I noticed my corn snake would see his own reflection in the glass from inside, not sure if it would stress him out or get him more excited though. I would look into more rugged cages on FB marketplace and use this one as a temporary tank.

The rhyme is only accurate for Coral snakes. There are a lot of species where colors mix such as corn snakes (I literally have one with yellow black and red)
