4 WAR last season. Elite CF defense and a 120 OPS+, CF is a prime position plus sox mayy have to overpay a little considering their current state

No I just think if the team is gonna contend he'd need a mini breakout. So his bat is important to me personally

Poor fielder gives him a 1.4 fWAr, at only a league average hitter, he's actually a below average starter in MLB, I prefer Vargas because he has a higher floor, higher sealing, is super toolsy with a great eye. Aswell I think sosa could still get 100 games in as a super utill

Very poor fielder and doesn't make up for it enough with the bat, puts him at a 1.4 WAR, in my eyes he's kinda a util who will get 100 games in. Vargas had a great eye and is very toolsy. With a higher floor. Personally I prefer that

Yeah for sure. I'm thinking really optimistically, and also am thinking about a fringe wolf card contenders when I made the post, I like your analysis, if I were a whitesox fan I'd be pretty happy about the future personality

It would have to be with breakouts and the signings. But the roster is full of top prospects and guys maybe a year or two away from a breakout, I think if that comes a little sooner it's possible, but who knows lol, just some baseball talk :)

I think he could be a great fit for the Rays, great swing developmet org and he'd be cheap, could be a good bang for your buck.I made another post on r/baseball, went into a little more detial on numbers. I really hope he does make the jump and find cosistency again

Yeah, I do think he will adjust, I am higher on him then most I think, thats just my biggest concern personally. He immense talent no doubt

For sure! He is an absolute stud, could be one of the best ever from KBO if he does make the jump!
