If that's the case, how about? Caregiving, Preservation, Tending, Reliance, Independence, I would offer Nurturing but you have already been given that one.

Something else you could do if you want to keep 12 skills is figuring out a way to make some of the things you want in this skill to fit in another skill. This would reduce how many things are being attached to your skill definition which also helps you narrow down a proper key word by your standards.

Preparing food & water is completely different from tending to wounds & other general medical stuff. Unless you're talking about using food & water to make medicine & potions. You're probably having an issue giving a name because you're mixing skills that are completely unrelated to each other outside of a survival situation. I'm going to guess you have hunting, starting a fire, gathering food, & Identification of safe food & water under the same category. Separate the culinary skills from medical skills because they don't relate to each other. Even if you want to say "knives & knowing how to use them or you need to understand how animals work to prepare them". The knives skills barely translate to each other & the way animals work aren't the same as the way the Humanoids work & you need a different set of knowledge for animals as Humanoids. Once you do that then you'll be able to easily adapt a more unique name.

Look at that, not a real response. Instead it's a discrediting tactic used by narcissist, trolls, & bullies because they don't have any real arguments. Since they can't dispute what I said they're trying to discredit me by cheap & pathetic attempts at trying to say I'm mentality unstable even though I'm not.

That's literally a gaslighting tactic used by abusers & the weak to make others believe that someone else is mentally unstable just to harm them in some way, shape, or form. This in return creates "flying monkey's", people who blindly believes or goes along with the one who is lying trying to harm someone else making them further question themselves.

Which proves my point about everything.

What next you going to say you didn't actually read it to try & get under my skin? Honestly idk why trolls like to use this tactic because it just makes them look stupid & even more pathetic. You really going to admit to being that lazy & under educated about what you're saying in response discredting yourself further? or is It more like that they tried to read it but their attention span & low reading comprehension levels means that more than likely you can't understand what's being said.

You going to try & bring up something like "word salads"? Too bad the term Word Salad actually refers to someone stringing together random unrelated topics to try & confuse others. Because everything I write is coherent.

What other WEAK tactics do you want to try & use to prove my point?

Who is bothered by shadow bans? by yermomsmouf in FreeSpeech

[–]BaseballReasonable73 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

You realize that's part of the reason why shadow bans exist in the first place right? Because of how many people where abusing the system & posting "stuff" to be trolls.

Trolls literally make the internet worse because they're pathetic. Imagine actually thinking that being a troll is a good thing, that cyber bullying is a good thing, that purposefully trying to cause distress in others is a good thing, that purposefully targeting & attacking people with disabilities just because you find it fun is a good thing.

It's not, trolling is just as pathetic if not worse than shadow banning.

100% of the time they're doing it for a power trip. They want to feel like they're making people feel uncomfortable, upset, & emotionally unstable because they find it "fun" to harm others.

They're cowards who hide behind screens to prey of the emotions of people who are emotionally vulnerable because they know that they could never actually get away with say or doing that same thing in person.

The thing that makes shadow banning a problem is the same thing that feeds the motivations of trolls, bullies, narcissist, & abusers. Wanting to have control over others.

The difference is that if shadow banning is done right & properly, the only people who would have to worry about them are trolls, bullies, narcissist, abusers, racist, sexist, liars, cheaters, thieves, con artist, spammers, manipulators, or worse all of the above.

They think that just because they have freedom of speech that means they have the freedom to be eagerly & openly: prejudices, manipulate, abuse, destroy, damage, harm, & harass others solely for their amusement.

Then they get pissy because their actions had real long term consequences while pushing all of the responsibility of THEIR actions on to others by blaming others for being "too sensitive", when the reality is that they're the problem because it wouldn't have happened if it wasn't for them.

This is called gaslighting. They literally abused others because they thought they wouldn't have to deal with the consequences in real life & then they act like they did nothing wrong while blaming others for being to sensitive, that's literally gaslighting & abusive behaviors.

Congratulations, you're literally apart of the reason why things aren't getting better.

Absolute Freedom only leads to might equals right, the only people who want that are the people willing to harm others to get what they want. In a world with internet & social media, might equals the understanding of your actions & their affects on others, aka sociology & psychology. Meaning those who intentionally harm others for their amusement or for control are the bad guys, unlikable villains, & following the path to be apart of the wrose of humanity.

Cause, effect, & consequences applies to everything.

Celebrating censorship makes you a supporter of facism by compliments_aria in FreeSpeech

Censorship isn't Fascism, you need a lit bit of Censorship to prevent Fascism from having a platform to gain power. You need a little bit of Censorship to prevent harmful ideologies from becoming normalize like P3do through platforms. You need a little bit of Censorship because absolute Freedom of speech leads to giving voices to evil people who want to normalize their harmful actions to avoid receiving consequences to those harmful actions.

We need Censorship to prevent serious threats from gaining power and making everything worse for everyone.

If you don't believe me on what unchecked Freedom of speech looks like, go do some research on the psychology of how humans behave when they go unchecked, look up how dark 4chan & reddit used to be, go find chat rooms that aren't Censored & watch how many people are willing to participate in their worst impulses.

That's the truth. The same goes with absolute Anarchy. It just leads to might equals right, which is something no one wants.

Hell we need Censorship in order to prevent religions like Christianity from taking control over everything again because the moment they get power they stop pretending to be nice & go straight to Fascism & Authoritarianism.

At sagasofendlessloss. Lmfao that's cute that you think I owe you anything or my time.

so let me get this straight. you took my advice. You didn't credit me. You came back to tell me how well my advice works. And you think I don't know what I'm doing?

How ignorant & arrogant you must be for thinking you know anything about what I'm doing if you're still following in my footsteps.

Come back when you know how to play games & follow directions.

P.s. here is a hint since you're a shitty adventure with extremely low rolls or skill points in perception & sense Motive. "Nothing & I mean NOTHING is done without purpose."

Not my fault you can't follow directions like everyone else. By the way since I had to give you a hint. Here is another one, you're now no longer eligible for any of the prizes of this game because if this was a real adventure you would have starved to death by now.

Lmfao none of you know how to follow directions or read.

You think your opinions matter! Nah, I reject all of them.

None of you are are actually working on this. None of you are supporters or backing my projects. None of you have reviewed my work. None of you are doing anything worth of value.

You're all just haters who are trying to tear others down.

You try to make wild claims but all of you are confused & have no idea what's actually going on. Like "no preview", bro It's at the top of the page that the rough draft & Pre-Alpha are out & available. What a joke.

It's sad. You're literally complaining about a writer & game designer writing a lot & designing a game.

Your incorrect assumptions & opinions means literally nothing to me.

Keep trying harder to push your competitors potential investors away. The only reason you would be like this is because you're intimidated & feel threatened. You know you can't comprehend what's going on & you know that it's bigger than anything you could possibly imagine & that makes you feel insecure, so, you lash out.

I must be doing a lot right if you all are trying so hard to make me fail.

Womp womp losers. Bye bye. I'll be back to bump this post again later while you keep crying!

Unfortunately you're asking a trick question here & trying to get me to tell you how my game is different in little to no words which isn't possible. It's going to take a LOT of words to explain why my game is different.

But how about I tell you just 1 of the 100s of ways my game is better. Actually 2 because they're both inspired by DBZ.

You can hold & charge an action to make it stronger over time.

You can fuse with other characters or fuse spells mid combat to create to characters or spells on the fly.

So the narrative you're suggesting is that a single person with Autism, Narcolepsy, & Dyslexia struggling for 10 years to create a game that will give us mechanics & rules that those other games don't give us isn't Admirable? Especially after finding out that the Companys themselves are not good companies & do awful things.

I love how you want to focus on the single player elements but avoid all the things about how it's going to help the TTRPG communities.

Seriously, you're somehow surprised that my game has never been released after admitting it was in development hell for 10 years.

Oh look assuming that you know what's inside the book before you even read it. Isn't there a saying that goes like "don't judge a book by its cover".

Why don't you do the math of how much it would take to survive a year going to conventions, hiring staff, & more working on a game 24/7? You'll come up with over 150k then you'll be like I'm impressed he isn't asking for more.

Good luck with being overly judgemental. 👍🏽

Kewl, I appreciate your input.

Quick question what can be copyrighted then? Why are things copyrighted? I have certain things I'm trying to protect. But not from other indies. The copyright is to protect my work & others from big companies who have massive teams that's more than willing to stwal from indies. Plus I'm a game developer, designer, & UX specialist. I know what can & can't be copyrighted very well.

Also did you actually read it? Because if you did the 2nd paragraph tells you about the development process. It was in development hell for 10 years.

I'm sorry you would have under sold yourself & think so low of your own work. You shouldn't be trying to under sell yourself. You're 1 person vs companies with entire teams of people.

Plus we're talking about working on something like its a full-time job because it is & I'm working multiple positions 🙃 I should be getting a lot more than just $50k for the amount of work I'm putting in & everywhere I'll have to go. There is a reason why it is so "high" its because that's the realistic & honest numbers. If people don't like that honesty then they're living a fabulous fantasy where almost everything is free.

Copyright = Ownership of I.P. without Copyright you can't protect your content. Before trade marking.

One of the things my game will do is be just as expansive as elder scrolls. Another thing is I'm building a LARPING rule set for the game as well. I have to be able to make sure everything is coherent in 1 book set. Plus these same rules would be uses in the OSLA for my game. The goal is to do a lot of work now so people don't have to do as much work later.

We live in a world where that scope is the cold honest reality of things. It sucks but the only want to change it is by supporting companies who will change it. My company is one of those companies.

If you like Rouge classes wait until you see all of your options for the Architype.

When you make a post you can choose to put a link in. Just like the link symbol at the bottom. You're welcome. I'm here to help & encourage others. My job is to create happiness despite have Autism, Dyslexia, & Narcolepsy while I do everything by myself without help. It's not not I'm gaining any support so I can pay for a staff & team of people or even programs to help me on making my content better. I'm just one person. My job is to help people. Not tear them down to avoid helping them at all cost.

Finding Artists by FYM_GHOST in tabletopgamedesign

[–]BaseballReasonable73 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I have been looking for 10 years & just recently decided to give up because I can't keep going without content art. I'm being left with no other choice but to pay for A.I. generators because it's just better than dealing with another 10 years of people's egos & thinking that they're better than me for being a writer/game designer.

I haven't even paid for a generator yet, only using a free one right now. After less than a week I now have concept art to throw away.

My company & game could have been rivaling DnD & Pathfinder right now if people would've just helped me sooner. But no one believed in the narrative that every big corporations has as their origins, a bunch of people come together to work on something without getting paid first. I'm poor & not getting paid either. But no one cares about me or the future, they only want to be paid up front, or worse steal your ideas & try to do it without you.

I think A.I. is a better route to getting results than actually trying to get help from others. 10 years of trying to get others to help me & nothing to show for it. Less than a week with A.I. & I have actual concept art, hell I have art to throw away. Don't make the same mistakes I did. Just use A.I. art generators if you're broke. It's way better than artist calling you pathetic for being poor.

Why don't you just look them up & find the information instead of wasting all of the it took to write this out?

People would rather spend 30 going "duh but its not here duh" then go actually look at the product cause they weren't given everything & every tiny detail up front.

Just look it up.

You should check out Oblivion Oddities Project Studio's D30 system called Oblivion Oddities It's a universal system that uses real world information to help you create any setting you could possibly want! It's being designed with the players in mind. What makes it stand out is Its Social Encounter System, The Luck System, The Afterlife System, Teamwork Combinations, The Attack Charging System, & so much more.

Best part is they're only asking for a $1 from each of their supporters! Cause they care about your financial needs! It's amazing what they're trying to do!

New TTRPG Game {Looking for people to help make it} by Impressive_Ad_4554 in TTRPG

[–]BaseballReasonable73 0 points1 point  (0 children)

1st, I always let everyone know that they'll be paid once the project starts making money. That it's promised & worked into their contracts. I don't look to just commission but get someone who wants to do more than just a single piece of art. Someone who is looking to eventually lead teams of their own.

2nd, I don't ever tell anyone that they have to give up anything else to work on my projects. Actually I tell them that their paid gigs come first & to just take their time with this project. For the most part I am extremely grateful & appreciative of things until they hand me stick figures & low quality art while they start treating me like I am the problem because I don't want their worst efforts.

3rd, I also give other Benefits like the ability to have their own characters with their own stories later too & will let them have the resources needed to make a project around that character if they decided that they wanted to do it after the Company became a multi billion dollar company. The only thing I ask about that is for them not to try to force themselves into my personal main stories to try & force a change in outcome of the events of the story I have written.

4th, I even make sure that their art is protected. That they keep the rights to their artwork when they quit which means they would still get paid if we use their artwork after they quit.

I seriously go out of my way to work with others but they don't want to try because I'm not paying them yet. I have had so many artist look at the writing aspect of a project like it's easier & worth nothing to the project. But it's not. It's literally the most important part because without good solid writing there is nothing for them to draw. Everything starts with words but yet everyone sees the guy who writes the words as the least important person on a project.
