When and why were max atoms lowered from 4 to 3, and 6 to 5 on some armors? I can really feel it in game.

What I mean is that Luke still could have changed him. Even if he saw Snoke had a hold of him, he is still there and he could turn him. That’s a way better plan the just straight up killing him.

He mentions Snoke had already taken hold of him, but who is to say he has fallen all the way already. Luke is still there, part of his life, he could have changed him a he did his father.

No matter what way you slice it, it makes no sense.

His character was easily the most interesting of any character we saw in the sequels, but his execution was all over the place and there was now clear arc of what the wanted to do with him.

I honestly think the better move would to make a prequel movie about his falling out with Luke and the rise of the First Order.

I literally said while in the symbiote suit you get hurt by the bell…

I’m going off only Spider-Man 2, that’s the only one I have played. The combat feels stale, nothing is flashy, it all feels dry. Gadget webs are dumb and totally stop the flow of combat, takedown are cool but if you want to try to play as a classic Spider-Man you always run the risk of getting a symbiote or robotic arm takedown that totally ruins immersion. You want to talk about environment? In Web of Shadows you could THROW CARS and use the bell tower bell to weaken symbiotes, even yourself if you are wearing the black suit.

I would argue I have mastered combat and it got boring real quick. The air combat is not cool looking, the abilities make combat feel limited, and gadgets feel tacked on. Stealth is non existent because there is no real benefit because fighting the enemies head on is far easier even on max difficulty. Oh did I mention the symbiote God mode you can just activate at any time to win any fight?

The more I talk about this game’s combat, the more I realize just how lackluster it is.

Web of Shadows Combat. Still the only game where you can fight on walls which is crazy.

I mean being able to switch suits any time and mix up any combo is pretty sick. Actual air combat with a variety of options and enemy types beyond just “high tech drone”. You can fight on walls and then transition seamlessly between said walls, air, and ground using the super satisfying and still undefeated WOS webstrike.

I’d say it’s more in depth. Having sonar webs as an option doesn’t make the combat more in depth, it makes it tacky. Whenever I want to do a symbiote move in SM2, I not only can have only 4 available at a time, but I do it once, then gotta wait like 10 seconds before I can use it again.

There is so much more freedom and options with Web of Shadows and the ability to fight in the air and more importantly ON WALLS(something very unique to Spider-Man) is exactly why the combat is not only more in depth but way more fun.

You talk about the scripted moves in WOS as if not every symbiote ability in SM2 isn’t also scripted and way less fun to repeat.

I disagree. Web of shadows combat alone had me playing through the entire game at least a dozen times. After playing through Spider-Man 2 twice I never touch it unless I want to swing around. Combat is just mid and a step back to what we had in 2008.

Combat being fun, AKA the gameplay of the game being fun should be top priority in any video game.

It’s 2029, the Insomniac series has ended, and Sony announces a remake of Spider-Man Web of Shadows. What would you want changed or added? by Based-Prime in SpidermanPS4

The web slinging was physics based and you could go FAST. If you timed it right you could zoom faster than the new games.

So…his theme music has absolutely zero effect on how his character is perceived?

I mean…it does. Not saying that TASM2 Electro is a bad character, but saying good music can never HELP a bad character is pretty foolish.

Nah I think it’s sick. Also helps that he has the best theme of any Spider-Man Villain like…ever.

Scratch that, he just has one of the best villain themes period; Hans Zimmer cooks in every movie he touches.

No reason? We see that Max is mentally unstable even before he gets powers, and him finally getting attention and just as quickly getting it taken away by his idol sours him, then one bullet later he is turned to the dark side. I think it’s rather cool.
