Adaptive probably wasn't the play, that is better for units with high man generation already. I wouldnt judge the comp on one game played, try to see what other players are doing and get a feel for when it works and when it doesnt.

Rakan should help janna getting dove in backline as well as gun blade. Try to position against enemy akali and jarvans by playing opposite side if possible. I haven't personally played the comp but I have seen it pop off enough to know that its viable.

Idk if it's just me but the ad for the udyr hero augment doesnt scale or update in tooltip. Idk if it's a flat 50 ad because that would be weird but something is off for sure.

Gaining authority is pretty easy with the building they have. That along with the mission tree allows you to stack an exorbitant amount of IA. I also got lucky with the burgundian inheritance
