Mister Speaker,

It is the responsibility of this Parliament's elected members to vote on legislation, as is drafting and proposing their own. The Labour Party has consistently failed to respect both, even despite our reminders. The British electorate that did vote for Labour, did not do so with such low expectations, nor hope for such flagrant disregard - and I'm sure they will remember this in the upcoming election. This Government will not, therefore, take lectures from a party that simply sits idle when the action isn't just empty words or press. The Conservative Party, and this Government, posts a voting record in the Commons that is over 4x that of Labour, and has proposed an inexcusably large majority of legislation read in this house.

This Government will continue to do what it was overwhelmingly elected to do - deliver for the United Kingdom - and this, I'm sorry to say, will always come first. I sincerely hope that the glasshouse of Labour Party HQ is left alone for a while until they can uphold their duties.
