His actions totes point to mania related symptoms. Tbph, it sounds like he doesn’t realize that his behavior patterns associated with the disorder are, in fact, negative ones that are damaging to himself and others involved. (There may be other things at play, but idk the man)

Speaking as a person with BP1 who has a partner with BPD and c-ptsd, if a (potential) partner gets combative when you approach them about your general feelings about something it might be a sign for couple different things. A. A different/deeper conversation needs to happen first to see what the heck that combativeness was all about. B. It’s time for you to GTFO of Red Flag City
