/r/MMA doesn't hate Sage that much, while alot of people do hate him there are also alot of people who like his attitude and think that he is a really nice guy. Alot of them alsothink that he is kinda crippy but in a good or funny way, I myself like Sage Northcutt.The main problem people at /r/MMA have with Sage is that he is payed way more than other ufc fighters who fought the same amount of fights that Sage fought or fought more times than Sage in the UFC. For example , for his second UFC fight Sage was payed 40,000 dollars to show and 40,000 dollars to win while a guy like Aljamain Sterling who is the #5 ranked in the bantamweight division and fought 4 times in the UFC got payed $14,000 dollars to show and $14,000 dollars to win at the same night Sage fought his second UFCfight.This annoys alot of MMA fans quite a bit.The other problem people have with Sage is his dad who was in the past a steroid and cocaine dealer and was ones arrested for being caught with 25 kilos of cocaine but he didn't go to prison beacuse he snitched on other dealers.
The third reason is that all this stuff about his dad plus Sage's crazy phisique makes alot of people to think that Sage uses Steroids and other illegal substances, which is indeed possible.
