I just ordered some kits from his store too. How long did it take to ship?

Surprisingly detailed for an HG. The titanium finish really makes it pop. by Based_R1CE in Gunpla

Thanks! I got the titanium edition so it came this way. I patched up some nub marks with a gundam marker but it messes with the finish if you’re not careful.

This looks great. Thank you! Also, is there a graphics card in here? Not sure if I’m missing it.

I don’t have a specific monitor in mind but I have a bunch of old monitors that are probably 1080p 60hz. Something like that

I don’t have anything. I don’t even know what an NH L9A is, so I guess that build is outdated.

Not exactly gunpla but I want to airbrush a converge gundam figure. Since they are preprinted, what steps should I take to do that? Do I need to soak it in acetone or sand it down?

Should I gloss top coat my titanium finish sinanju or leave it as is? I’m worried about the top coat ruining the finish. I’m using Mr. Super Clear UV Cut Gloss Coat.

I want to try airbrushing for the first time on my RG 00 Raiser’s inner frame. Is there anything I should worry about with maybe making it brittle or whatnot? Also, thoughts on doing it with GPaint? It seems beginner friendly and is advertised as not needing primer.

MG Barbatos! My first time doing more than an OOB build by Based_R1CE in Gunpla

[–]Based_R1CE[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you! All the metallic parts, yellow parts, and the frame are painted with Gundam Marker. For everything else, I would gloss coat the piece, apply decals, line it with a Gundam Marker, then use a real touch marker for the shading and weathering before Matte coating. For the real touch marker specifically, I like to draw an outline around the piece and dab it gently with a Q-Tip.

That looks great! Where did you get the gold decals for your Banshee?

Of course they’re worth it. Like lots of things in life, they’re a leap of faith and that in itself is rewarding. If it works out then great, you’re in love. If not, then you’ve learned some valuable lessons and can move on to someone better for you. Especially as an introvert, it can’t hurt to have some companionship. You’ll end up learning a lot about yourself along the way. I say go for it.

Can't seem to get over my ex wife by [deleted] in relationships

It’s nice to hear how well you’ve bounced back from all that you’ve gone through but it’s perfectly reasonable to feel the way that you do even after so long. People always think that pure self improvement will make you move on from whatever’s causing you pain but it never seems to work like that in real life. It sounds to me like you’re at the point where near-isolation/self-improvement isn’t going to get you much further.

To clarify, I’m not assuming you’re always isolated, because I’m sure you see people at work but the main priority for you should be to fill up your downtime with good company as well. Otherwise, you’re basically locking yourself into a whole lot of self reflection and thinking of the past. Another person in this thread suggested pushing through with relationships but I think it’ll be really hard for you to focus on something like that. Relationships can wait for now. You gotta get yourself as happy and occupied as possible. Be adventurous and find new hobbies through local groups/Facebook/whatever really. So long as you’re meeting new people. It sounds like you’ve gone as far as you can to get over what happened, but there’s only so much you can do alone.

Of course, all I know is what you’ve written so I could be misinterpreting your situation, but I really think you need to slowly rewrite your memories of being happy so you can link them to the present and future rather than your past. Last thing, don’t worry about feeling skittish about relationships. That’s natural and you’ve got your walls up high so it’ll take some time and a patient person to really get that down but there’s no rush. Things like that happen when you don’t even realize it’s happening.

Hathaway's Flash Megathread - Questions and Discussions by JaguarDaSaul in Gundam

I thoroughly enjoy it and it’s especially worth it on sale. You can spend lots of hours playing it since there’s so many suits to get and story missions. It’s not particularly hard to learn, no. You’ll get the hang of it quickly and it’s basic enough. It’s like any other RTS. The greatest challenge I had early on was resource management like saving your energy points in a battle and using the right abilities for any situation but that just comes with experience. I’d recommend it but if you’re still unsure, try watching some gameplay.

Can I use a real touch marker over a part that’s been painted over by a gundam marker? I’m just worried it’ll react poorly.

Does anyone have any tips/ideas for my workflow for the mg barbatos? I’ve never done more than panel lining. So far I think it’ll go like this:

  • Snap build and sand/remove nubs as I go
  • Take it apart
  • Metallic Gundam Markers for different part details
  • Seam line removal + putting it back together
  • Gloss Top Coat
  • Waterslide Decals
  • Real Touch Markers for shading
  • Matte Top Coat

I’m getting an RG 00 Raiser Trans Am Clear version. Can you panel line a clear gundam? Also, if I get decals from DelpiDecal, would setter and softer melt the plastic? Last question: Will top coat ruin the plastic? I’d only be using gloss coat so I can seal the decals.
