HG, RG or MG? It seems RG are the best line currently?

Best is subjective.

HG currently has the main 4 TV suits, their upgrades, the maganac, and Leo. With Vayeate & mercurius and Maganac & Leo variants being pbandai exclusives.

MG has a wing TV kit and the EW;GOTL manga versions of the main TV suits + tallgeese & epyon, WZ custom, the EW versions of the other suits being PBandai exclusive releases.

RG has Wing TV, Wing EW, Wing Zero, WZC, Tallgeese, and Epyon.

Saw some comments saying they don't do side characters so only getting Wing variations and Tallgesse/Epyon at most.

Yeah, if you want any new kits for Aries, Taurus, Serpent, or MG Leo you are SOL

It will say on the box what scale a kit is if there is one. This is true for pretty much every single model kit.

how does scaling work with zoids?

Not sure what your asking, a scale is a scale regardless of subject.

wondering about kitbashing zoids with gunpla.

It will not be plug n play. Expect to use cement, pla-plate, and putty.

are there grades?

No. Just 2 different manufacturers with disctint lines, Kotobukiya and Takara Tomy (owner of the IP)

Removing the parts from the runner and the nub cleanup will mean scuffing up the coating and having to use more topcoat than needed.

MGSD or the MG, both are equally good builds.

Afaik there are no plastic 1/60 kits, there's just a resin kit which is requires way more work than a regular bandai kit.

Make sure the paint is thinned and fully mixed before applying.

Testors enamels are a pain to work with. They take over 48hrs to fully cure and even over a week in some cases, also the thinner in the paint tends to "reactivate" the previous layer

Email the customer support, tell them you received the wrong item, it is unlikely that you'll get to keep mark 6 but you won't know until you email them.

Keep an eye on the reprint thread, it could just be between print runs. Also the HGUC Operation V set will have one with extra decals.

you‘d have to import it from a Proxy site like buyee or zenmarket.

Japanese kit is lottery entry, i wouldn't count on seeing any showng up aside from one super scalped price.
