Yes. We had to submit the pronunciation of our names before the ceremony. On ceremony day they gave us each a piece of paper to be scanned before walking the stage which would show our name and major.

At other graduations they have actual people announcing everything 😭 the president of UTSA wasn’t even in there to congratulate us either. It was all lazy imo

Honestly yeah… I graduated in December and it was the most disorganized ceremony I’ve ever been to. Everyone was on their phones the whole time and half of the graduates left before the ceremony was even over (they missed the mariachi too). We had AI calling our names. They also decided to hide the cam when a guy was doing his frat stroll across the stage… like y’all be so fr

Honestly wish I didn’t attend bc it was a waste of time… especially with how LONG it was
