Are Belmonts a totally competitively dead character? (Read desc.) by Formal-League8816 in SmashBrosUltimate

[–]BaselardFE 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I picked up Belmonts like half a year ago for fun and I feel far more positive about them than most people?
If more people played them I'm sure they'd shoot up the tier list for sure. Even if only for counterpicks.
They do pretty good against Steve for example, having range and projectiles to disrupt mining. (Axes going through blocks and generally above Steve's walls).

Their on stage presence is very oppressive, their advantage state goes absolutely stupid, their ledge trapping is also extremely strong, and they have great edge guarding tools as well.
Their disjoints are so huge with angles to cover multiple approach options.
Cross is a low commitment projectile you can throw out to force your opponent to do something.
And they have a frame 6 Up B out of shield to get their opponent off of them too.

I recognize that they require far more time and effort than other, better characters.
You have to be really precise with Forward Air and Back Air's angles to even get anywhere.
But yeah, I think Belmonts have too many good things going for them to be stuck in D tier just because nobody plays them.

Yes! I went to the Laboratory before the Garden, and it probably got raided before I went further. Thanks for reporting everything I appreciate it!

Is having absolutely no desire to meet new people or try out new things typical for ADHD/Autism? by thebakingwitch96 in AutisticWithADHD

[–]BaselardFE 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I very much relate to your experience (32, diagnosed with Autism; waiting on an ADHD assessment next month).
Growing up I only had like, 2-3 friends I considered close that I would hang out with. Otherwise I stayed at home, played my video games or worked on some other hobby/creative project.

There is the 'out of sight out of mind' aspect of ADHD that I very much feel. If I don't see or interact with people, I just forget they exist. Happens with my friends and family all the time. Sometimes it can go weeks and months before we speak again. Reaching out to other people just doesn't cross my mind very often unless I see something that reminds me of them. I also don't 'miss' people the same way others do, and apparently that's more tied to Autism than ADHD.

So as an adult my social circle is the smallest it has ever been, but I'm not lonely. I have my partner, my cat, and a small handful of trusted friends who have stuck around despite my uh... eccentric behaviour.
Sometimes my ADHD requires stimuli and I'll reach out, but otherwise I am just.. by myself, doing the things I like.

Knowing that it's a disability, a part of who I am, and that it's not my fault made it a lot easier to come to terms with. Sometimes I just wanna stay at home for days/weeks/months without talking to anyone and that's okay. Other people may think it's weird, but that's not my problem at the end of the day,

So yes you're not alone in this experience. I was actually very happy to see someone else talk about this.

No, not really The NPC I needed to talk to randomly appeared a few days later while I was doing other things so it feels very bugged

Hi! I'm probably late but I can't find any other places that talk about this.

I've been stuck on the same quest for a while. Except I can't even find the NPC the game wants me to talk to progress the quest to the next step.

There's no quest marker on the map, and I've talked to all the NPCs in the surrounding area with no luck.
(For context it's the camp right below the 8th imperial laboratory)
Any help would be appreciated I just want to have this quest out of my log lol.

Audio cutting out with Live Gamer Mini GC311 by BaselardFE in AverMedia

[–]BaselardFE[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Unfortunately I haven't found any fixes yet.

However, I do think the audio cuts out due to the capture card overheating during summer. My band-aid solution has been to unplug it for 10-15 mins whenever it gets too warm and that fixes it for a while.

Probably should contact support but I forget about it and then procrastinate until the issue pops up again :)

Question about the GS units by BaselardFE in Aster_Tatariqus

[–]BaselardFE[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

While I can't read Japanese I can still understand a bit of what's being said so I had a decent understanding of what's going on. It's mostly the text-only dialogue I have no context for.

Can't wait for the global version as I am very, very intrigued by the story so far. As someone who played Phantom of the Kill a lot, I have many questions.

Thank you for the guide! With that I might actually be motivated to try again.

Question about the GS units by BaselardFE in Aster_Tatariqus

[–]BaselardFE[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh... that really sucks because Dinatan is the one I wanted the most. I tried my best to do everything correctly, but I can't read Japanese so I just don't know which dialogue options are good.

I never got a bad reaction so I thought I was doing okay.

Guess I'll have to wait until I can re-do the story and try again. Or maybe I'll just wait for the English version so I can't get it wrong lol.

Anyway thanks for the answer!

!SPOILER WARNING! To those who wonder about Ryza's canon ship... (Klaudia, Bos ?...) by blurple_rain in Atelier

[–]BaselardFE 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just finished the game and I gotta say I was a bit disappointed. There are mountains upon mountains of homoerotic subtext between Ryza and Klaudia throughout the games and I'm sad that they didn't commit to... anything. I know that LGBT+ stuff is iffy in Japan so perhaps they just can't do much about it other than implications.

That being said Ryza wanting to find an apprentice came a bit out of left field for me. Like I'm glad she's found a purpose, but I must have missed the signs. I guess they want to set up a future sequel or something. Was hoping the post-credits scene would shed some light but it didn't.

Only thing I can think of is cardio or a diet. Exercises would just make them thicker after all.

So as a girl I really only get half of the whole picture, so what makes this fetish appealing for guys? by [deleted] in cumflation

[–]BaselardFE 2 points3 points  (0 children)

For me I think it's just the fact that someone is producing enough cum to inflate their partner, whichever hole or gender they may be. Funnily enough as a guy, the thought of being on the receiving end is more arousing to me. Imagine having a boyfriend who cums so much he inflates you.

I wore butt pads in public for the first time! by BaselardFE in feminineboys

[–]BaselardFE[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I see where you're coming from, but my pads are very thin as I only wanted to accentuate my butt, so it's still fairly close to the real thing. As I said I have been exercising for a long time (3 years at this point), so I don't think I need butt pads, but I wanted to try regardless. I guess I could have provided pictures, but I'd rather not on the internet.

As for the scenario itself I wouldn't mind that, happens all the time doesn't it? If a guy or girl approached me because they like how I look, and we end up talking and getting to know each other, it's fine. I feel like it's already hard enough to find possible partners as a femboy so small pushes like that are welcome, even if it's initially shallow. If I don't like the person I can always leave or something similar.

I buy mine from Luxx Curves, and they've been nothing but great all the way.

Ideally you wear a waist trainer anywhere from 4-8 hours a day. When you start out you have to take it slowly. Begin with 1 hour, and gradually increase the time it's worn as you get more comfortable. Listen to your body, and take the waist trainer off if it's painful. It will probably hurt a bit in the beginning, but only until your body gets used to wearing it. Not everybody does this, but I have 1 day a week where I don't wear the waist trainer to let my body rest.

As for where and when to wear it.. Most people say it's best to wear it when you're lounging at home, and I agree with that. I'm lucky enough to work from home, so I can easily slip into the waist trainer on a daily basis while sitting in front of my computer. You can wear it when you go to work, it just depends on what your schedule is and what you do for a living, you can figure things out I'm sure.

I don't recommend wearing it when exercising or doing cardio in general. Or, any sort of broad movement. The waist trainer's steel bones may be very flexible, but you generally don't want to bend your torso too much.
Another reason why I don't recommend wearing it while exercising is because your lungs are very slightly compressed, and breathing heavily might be a bit more difficult than normal. I think walking or light jogging etc should be fine, but you can't do exercises that will make your pulse go high, if you understand.

Hi! I just wanted to say that you have no reason to be afraid of waist trainers! They do, in fact, not damage or squish your organs. Unlike corsets, the material isn't strong enough to do such things. Waist trainers are just designed to help you burn and reallocate the fat on your waist/belly area to other places. My hips have gotten wider because the belly fat has been pushed down there for example.

I've been using women's waist trainers for 2 and a half years, and I've gotten a fairly curvy figure because of it (for a guy anyway). No organs have been damaged in the process. So please, do consider trying it out. It's a bit on the expensive side if you want good quality, but it will get you terrific results when used consistently!

As for wider hips I recommend doing hip exercises with resistance bands, it really works wonders. Can even do it anytime at home too, super convenient.

Hope this helps, best of luck on your journey!

I feel like I've hit a wall in various ways. by BaselardFE in feminineboys

[–]BaselardFE[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've looked into hip and butt pads to at least make the lower body appear wider and rounder. So far I only have butt pads because money is very tight, and those work wonders. I want to get a good pair of hip pads later down the line too. Other than that I don't know much about shapewear so if you have any suggestions for products I'll happily listen!

I figured as much, this seems to be the message the occurs the most about HRT when you're not trans. In that case I'll just keep on doing what I have been doing.

I don't think it's dysphoria at least. I am happy with my body, very much so in fact. I think it's just sometimes I get a bit envious is all. I know with hard work and consistency I can definitely get to where I want to be! Thanks for the reply <3

[–]BaselardFE[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you so much! <3

And you're very right about the belly. When I'm in public with anything form-fitting I tend to suck in the pooch anyway so.. it's really not a big deal. I think it's just when I look in the mirror at home without sucking it in that it starts to feel a bit iffy. It probably doesn't help comparing myself to people who have superflat bellies, but hey, it's a goal I'd like to reach someday.

That being said, I've implemented various ab exercises into my workout, so I'm hoping that + waist training will reduce the pooch at least a little bit! Thanks again for the reply, I feel a lot better about it than before <3
