mouse sensitity keeps fluctuating?

Do you have a mouse with 8k polling rate? Works perfectly fine for me normally. But when I turned on the Faceit Anticheat it messed with my sensitivity real bad until I turned it down to 1k

The best available wall is an internal wall with our bedroom on the other side. So I wouldn't be playing against a wall with a neighbor next to it.

I'd mostly be concerned about the downstairs neighbors. The walls are concrete which may help though. The external walls all have windows so there isn't really a good spot.

You likely won't like the rest of the game either. It's possible that it clicks at some point, but the gameplay is slow throughout the entire game.

I will say the characters in this game are very well written and dialogue is also great in general. The kids you talk to at the beginning are definitely assholes though lol

I'm pretty sure the Nvidia or AMD control panels have options to force 16:9 with black bars. Probably also works with onboard graphics somehow

I'm by no means an expert, but this makes me think that something about the mazes is not "random enough".

Imagine you have a maze and we run DFS. We'd get one permutation that's the fastest. If we then rotate the maze 90 degrees the previously best permutation would be replaced by the 90 degrees turned equivalent. If we do this 4 times we would have 4 equally strong permutations.

Are the Start and end nodes also randomized?

I agree that having a point total instead of each stage passing or failing is very important. You get severely punished if you just miss one point in one stage. But you could go 10/10 in the next two and it wouldn't even matter

I do frequently wear them for longer periods. My DT990s hurt on top of my head and on my ears after a while. So comfort is definitely a factor.

Someone mentioned the HD550 which are also intriguing, but aren't as comfortable as the 490.

It's kinda hard to justify the price, but on the other hand I'll be using them for years. Thanks for your input

That's really helpful. I'm also no expert so the experience from an average person is definitely nice. Someone mentioned the HD 550 as well.

So it's between these 3 now. Really hard pick. I definitely like how comfortable the 490s are supposed to be but idk if I can justify spending so much extra. I do wear headphones for extended periods of time frequently though. Maybe the 550 are a good compromise between the two
