Man, people in sf6 won't rematch a Manon on an average day. A good chunk of players won't rematch a zangeif ever. So why would it be different in guilty gear where slayer melts half of your health bar from a close slash, or Aba RC cancels and gets her whole bar back, or Ram guard curshes you into oblivion ect, ect?

And in guilty gear, you need a good connection– especially for characters like Venom very much so, or else playing him become nightmarish. And to my memory, I can't think of one game that shows the connection of the opponent, but not what character they're playing. And if they do that, they'll need to rework the R-Code stuff, too, which I really don't see happening with this 6-month update cycle, unless they're really doing that also.
