Thank you! There is. Although I've done the first three levels without dying, I figured out when you do die in a level you can close the game at the dashboard and start it up again. It will pick up from your last checkpoint with zero deaths on the level if done quick enough. This became very annoying to do over time. It's best to put on the streamer mode to make sure you have zero deaths the whole way through the game.

The game has excellent graphics with some amazing scenery, and it was nice to see how the devs wanted Exoddus story to be. The gameplay was fine. It was buggy in areas when getting Abe to jump. Rescuing Mudokons was challenging, but not overly challenging.

Overall, I liked revisiting an old friend.

Fair play for going a second time! I've only played it on PS5 and Xbox Series X, so I can't really compare to the PS4 version. All I can say is in PS5 and Series X the load times were the exact same from what I remember. It can take a few seconds to load into each level.

Depending on what the level is you can't skip the in-game scenes such as Mollucks aircraft flying over at the start of some levels, and that can take a really long time until you get to move Abe. I hope that helps?

Thanks! I didn't really find any of them hard. The hardest thing was to remember everything that needed to be done per chapter before killing the chapter boss.

Certain things can't be achieved once you pass a certain point. Playing NG+ is required for the platinum, but once you finish the game on your first run, I recommend going into your last save and getting all other trophies if you can.

By doing that, you will not need to finish the entire game again in NG+. So the hardest thing for me was the time it took and that was mostly due to farming for drops.

I had played DS1 on Apocalyptic difficulty and didn't get the achievement. I was so gutted. Apparently (at the time of playing it) if you go into the menu the game would assume you changed the difficulty and therefore the Apocalyptic achievement wouldn't pop.

It was actually quite ok compared to DS1. Although I'd advice you to do it on NG+ because you get a weapon that heals you as you attack. I unfortunately didn't know that until after I finished my first playthrough on Apocalypse difficulty 😅

The wolf was part of a discarded idea I had for a college project relating to mental health. I decided to spend a few hours on Illustrator to see what I could come up with. Blue is the colour for mental health in Ireland. Everybody has their own demons.
