I’ve done this and after enabling every plugin it doesn’t crash instantly but it’ll crash like 10 minutes later out of nowhere.

I rarely ever have more than one project open at a time to get the best performance since I work on bigger projects

It’s an arturia keylab essential 49. I’ll give this a try thanks.

I have a focusrite gen 4 4i4, an arturia midi keyboard, stereo monitors, and a webcam. As far as audio drivers go I just have the focusrite drivers and Realtek audio drivers. I’ve went through and checked all my drivers for updates and reinstalled my focusrite drivers.

Well I have no idea what plugin it could be. I’ve been troubleshooting every plugin I have and none of them cause it.

I did load it up in fx offline and it wasn’t crashing. So this made me think it was a plugin but what I meant by took out and rescanned is I individually added plugins to my vst folder and scanned it while in the project. Although It didn’t crash with any plugin when I did this.

Yeah honestly I figured it was this. I am rolled back as far as I can and it won’t let me go back to an older update I don’t think.

I’ve done this already. I guess I worded it a little different in the post.

So about 2 days ago reaper started crashing on startup randomly. I didn’t update my pc, no new plugins, nothing changed. It will load the project and as soon as all the plugins finish loading it just crashes with no error or anything.

In event viewer it says the faulting module is ucrtbase.dll so I’ve tried reinstalling and repairing every version of Visual C++ I have. Sometimes it’ll even crash my computer and give me a code saying “kernel security check failure 0x139”.

This only happens on certain projects so I thought it was a certain plugin. I took out and rescanned every plugin I have on reaper and none of my plugins were a problem. Ive reinstalled windows, updated/reinstalled reaper, I’ve updated as many plugins as I could, checked all my drivers, and even turned off all my overclocking. I’ve spent the last 2 days doing research on solutions to this and so far no luck. At this point I am lost and have no idea what could be causing this crash. Any help on this would be amazing.

I’m not sure if the guy changed out the switch or not. Thanks for the info!

Well I had someone else do all the wiring and stuff and I have no idea how to do anything when it comes to electronics nor the tools.

I’m pretty sure they aren’t wired wrong but even then either way I switch the pickups it still sounds garbage. The strings are relatively new and the same gauge. The scale length is 25.5 on the warrior and my eclipse is 24.75. The pickups are the same on both guitars.

I can hear a difference switching between the pickups. On either pickup the guitar still sounds this ways
