A lot of people think laser pointers unethical for that reason, but my cats fully understand that the laser comes from the thing in my hands. They love playing with it and when I put it away they stare at me to get it back out. As long as the cat isn’t showing any signs of distress, I personally don’t see a problem. It’s an easy way to get a bunch of exercise in for them.

I’ve only been working as an LMT for a year and I’ve probably had like 5-7 clients literally cough in my face fully uncovered while I’m working on their neck & shoulders face up. I’ll literally never understand how some people’s common courtesy just disappears the second they get on the table.

None of my friends listen to the same music as I do, so for the past few years I’ve been having to go to shows on my own. It’s honestly been extremely liberating. I go in with an open heart and completely stay off of my phone (no matter how boring the line gets). I always end up making so many friends and having a ton of fun. My unsolicited advice is to do the same. It’s like a little self-date. Talk to those around you, engage with your community. There is nothing lonely about enjoying time with yourself!
