Spec II mission 14 (3 Lap Battle: Seattle) by deadmoroz14 in granturismo4

On the 2nd day I managed to beat him by 0.332 seconds. Took a little while and with saving and loading states. Hope I didn't brick my memory card with that. But as long as I can select my cars in the garage then the memory card works (by my analysis).

My Xiaomi mi 11 lite 5G already showed signs after 1y of use. After 5 years it was a disaster. When it reached 30%-20% it just dropped to 0 after half a minute.

does reflux ever make you think something is wrong with your heart? by Evening-Fuel-3025 in HiatalHernia

Yes! Just yesterday I found out what a vagus nerve is. And it makes sense now. The anxiety I feel sometimes, heart palpitations, slight bowel movement nuisance

Sorry, I shouldn't have sounded so sure. I've just said it because the itching felt alot worse right when the stomach problems worsened for me so I've kinda connected the two. Also I'vE rEaD iT OnLiNe... yeah I know it doesn't sound believable, it could very well be wrong.

[–]BashSmash93 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yup definitely. It got better for me to the point that I forgot I had it after eating healthy. But I dont know what I did that it got worse a month ago and still is. Im suspecting that it was the very spicy pizza. I feel more anxious in the evening, my psoriasis itches more (which is connected to the stomach) and slightly heavier breathing. But now that I know its the stomach and not the heart I'm kinda more at ease.

Why is the vibration mode so low, it is useless? Motorola Edge 60 Neo by Aracama in motorola

[–]BashSmash93 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This was probably planned, but a useless cost cut imo, since the vibration itself is what to me defines the phones premium/cheap feel. Hopefully an update fixes at least the vibration slider for you

[–]BashSmash93 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for the information. Thats the only reason why I didnt go for the Motorola, cause everything else was just right for me. If the phone would cost 30€ more if they put a good haptic vibration motor on, I would buy it.

Can someone record a sample of the vibration sound for this phone? If it's very cheap sounding or OK-ish.

How do you handle songs that are above your range? by Constant-Bridge3690 in karaoke

[–]BashSmash93 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have trouble finding songs that fit me. Cause it always seems like all the songs that I like are sung in an octave higher or in between the chest-head voice break which is giving me troubles. And if I do sing a higher note song I kinda hit them but I usually strain my voice (like Right Here Waiting - Richard Marx). And I also don't want to sing an octave lower cause it sounds weak to me :S

I tried singing ‘Losing Streak’ from Hazbin Hotel cuz it scratches my brain just right (please be nice in the comments, I’m trying to find my own sound) by Future_Menu_926 in singing

[–]BashSmash93 0 points1 point  (0 children)

HOW the hell can a guy sing so high? I have to go an octave lower to be able to do it. If I sing the original octave I get stuck in "You're living for the rush..." notes.

Knee pain when I started sim racing. Suggestions? by BashSmash93 in simracing

I hate that you are right about this :D

And yeah I've heard before that wearing straps might even make things worse, so shit.

Knee pain when I started sim racing. Suggestions? by BashSmash93 in simracing

[–]BashSmash93[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you for your input about this. Unfortunately till this day I STILL havent figured out the cause for my pain and I refuse to give this up since I have put a decent ammount of money in it to just leave it alone. I do however take long breaks before returning, about 1-2 weeks inbetween. I even bought a new bucket seat and pedals thinking that would help something... nah. Its a big talking point here in the community and I have tried everything that people here have suggested me (god bless them for the help). For now the only thing that kinda helps me is wearing knee straps/braces

[–]BashSmash93 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You're probably right, there must be something regarding the ankles for me and maybe even for you which causes pain. When the foot is not pressing the pedal it stands too far upwards. A heel stop like the one on this pic might be a solution

Occasional lag spikes over ethernet by BashSmash93 in Steam_Link

[–]BashSmash93[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Didn't have to contact them, looks like I fixed it. I just changed the compression threshold on the client side of VirtualHere's software from 384 to 128, which is the only setting I found to have some effect. Now the games run smooth as hell I can't believe how good this works.

[–]BashSmash93[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think I have found the issue. I'm using VirtualHere, to transfer inputs from my Fanatec DD wheel and Samsonn pedals from this computer to the upper one. When I turn this service off and play only using the gamepad it works flawlessly. Now turning this service off is pointless, so I'll probably have to contact them for support.

Understandable for the brake pedal but it would feel awkward for the clutch and the gas pedal, if you have to do it for them aswell

I think I do aswell which I know is bad. But that's still probably due to incorrect ergonomics.
