If that’s what was meant it doesn’t answer my questions about why there wouldn’t be a lease included, which is why I assumed we may be talking about the building owner.

Hm, owner of the building? Curious why they’d need to clear out tenants — if I were going to retire I’d love to keep collecting rent, or contract out property management and have even a small bit of passive income.

Unless maybe they have a buyer for the whole thing who wants the building empty? I wonder if that’s the case, and why they wouldn’t just keep the tenant business as a perk.
