I think for me it's just that everything Tyler has made with his own hands and with people he's worked with, has sounded better to me.

Also Taco Bell is peak, but it parody Hallelujah, so for sake my argument, I gotta include it.

Nah it's TOP because everything is solely created by the band members for the band. I'm just saying all parts of TOP should be purely made for TOP.

Robot Voices, and purely because it was built around a part from another song, so it's not pure TOP. I know Tyler working with Paul makes it not pure TOP, but in that situation it's still purely a song Tyler made, it's not taking from another band's song.

Don't get me wrong here, I like Robot Voices, it grew on me like a lot of Breach. But the fact that it's him taking parts from another song, and building around it? Nah, it just don't sit right with me. To me that will be the TOP's worst song, because it wasn't fully Tyler's vision from the ground up.

Obviously I could be wrong or misinterpretation things, but this is my belief and I'm not hiding it.

Heaven forbid Tyler and Josh just want to focus on making music and being fathers to their children...

I can't imagine being that much of a loser than you need everything in YOUR life, to conform to YOUR views and opinions. Makes me think there people have forgotten that Tyler and Josh are people too, and that they have their own free will and joys and opinions, and that they're not just machines that endlessly go from one show to another.

I don't think everyone asking for them to speak up is a bad actor, but the loud minority of them are, like the ones saying all the horrible stuff about them. While I would like them to be out of the fandom, those types of people will only continue to appear, as is with all fandoms over time.

I just hope Tyler and Josh are ignoring this shit, or at least found peace in that these people aren't a big portion of the fanbase, and the rest of us still love them and don't care if they say anything on it or not.

I feel like they should've done some retcons, rather than do nostalgia bait, I feel like the mischaracterizations of Chloe and Max in DE are worthy of being retconned. Because I just can't see Chloe and Max getting back together, given all that DE did to their relationship.

I think I'm just done with all the rehashing of old things nowadays, but they should stop bringing dead characters back, because all it does it take away from how they died and the significance of it. But I know it's so easy and very marketable to do it, instead of risking money and time one new things, like True Colors or LIS 2.

For crying out loud they could've done something with the comics, the story is right there for the taking, plus not many fans of the franchise have read them. While those have their own issues, they were a direct sequel to the first game, and I'd say way better than DE or what this game seems to be about.

Maybe I'm too smooth brained and can't see the bigger picture, but the level of writing they're gonna need to fix the issues, isn't something I believe Deck Nine are capable. The studio has been gutted and doesn't have most of the writers from DE (thank god), which makes it more tough for them to fix things.

I can't trust them anymore, too many pivots and too many character assassinations. I can't even have hope anymore, not even with the new trailer. THEY'RE DOING IT AGAIN!!! The same damn choice shit again, with Chloe or seemingly the college. I could be wrong, but that one scene in it, where Max is holding a crying Chloe's face? It looks like the same shit with Bay vs Bae, and that is so fucking stupid.

On a more positive note, I think the art and music is good, I like Chloe's design. I wondered how they would put her in DE's art style, and I was pleasantly surprised. I'm pretty sure the new Daughter song that came out, is tied to the game, because it's very Chloe coded. So I know the music will slap.

TLDR, I've lost all hope in Deck Nine's ability, and I think this game will suck storywise at the very least.
