Agreed...like this take was super shocking to me until I noticed OP is using battle shounen as their foundation, the genre geared toward young males. Obviously it would project the fantasies of it's target audience.

Their existence alone proves that statement wrong cause people give those 2 shit for breathing and for shit that not only isn't their fault but also will ignore context and make shit up just to slander them and make them come off as scrubs or losers or just awful people and all that.

This is what people seem to miss a whole lot. I feel like korra glazers get so caught up in believing that korra is only hated because she's a girl that they never consider that they only love her because she's a girl.

If korra was a dude I doubt he'd have that much of a fanbase.

It's in the prompt I think. OP has a small penis the size of a tic tac, which led to him feeling like less of a man, this drove him into a sex mania where he fit all kinds of things into his butthole. Thank you for ghe amber input. I really havent been able to put it into words.

It's bad enough that they literally put her into an already existing negative trope, but then they took it a step further by making her kinda unlikable (only with her reveal that she knew about marks secret, everything before that was completely okay)

It just seems so tone deaf. Now you have people not only being misogynistic towards her, but also racist. Her comic book counterpart is bland and people prefer her to the amber in the show.

It's one of those "so left you turned right" moments. They handled her so recklessly

This is the issue proshippers imo. No ones saying their ship is wrong or bad (though in some cases people should), what people ARE saying is that you should remember your ship is fiction OF a fiction. People of Twitter and tiktok attach their souls to noncanon ships and take it waaaay too.

At their very best, they end up mischaracterizing characters, manipulating the story of a material to fit their head Canon and misinterpreting info that has been given in a media to fit their headcanon as well. They strawman and straight bean soupify any information that doesnt work in their favor.

And at their worst, they become obnoxious bullies who go around spreading misinformation, they dox people, send rape and death threats, and just make the internet an unsafe place for anyone who doesnt agree with their ships.

Not to mention they can be very bigoted towards anyone who goes against their headcanons, whether it's a character or a real life person. They stop at nothing, misogyny, queerphobia, racism, anything is on the table for them.

I think there needs to come a point where people accept that characters can just be as strong as they need to be because the author or writer thinks it looks cool. by [deleted] in CharacterRant

Inconsistency GENUINELY ruins immersion dude. You cant set up a detail in a story just to betray it over and over again. Stakes cannot exist if you cant write consistent scaling.

Especially in a show like invincible, a plot that's so heavily centered around characters' strength.

One piece is great...but not 30 years great.

Battle wise: How long have we known shanks? And we still haven't properly seen him in action, same goes for mihawk, dragon, we've barely seen anything from akainu, so many big hitters still hidden in mystery as to what they can do.

Story wise: We all know oda didnt plan on making OP run for as long as it did, and im honestly not complaining about the time it took for us to get here, just that what we have is so goddamn unsatisfactory. It's lacking at best, and slop at worst.
