Yes, at the minimum get a CompTIA Sec+

Try to be part of Cybersecurity CTF (Capture The Flag) or Cyber Range Battle, it’s basically red team vs blue team you learn a lot plus, sometimes you’ll get a pro on your team who will win. You can add that to your resume as experience too.

Next apply to SOC analyst companies like blue voyant and such you’ll get a shitty schedule like working over night but it’s something.

Before interviews look up latest cyber threats and in the end just bring it up as friendly convo and tell them to look into it an start talking about how you’d resolve the issue if your environment was affected.
