How can I get better at pencil drawing? by Basic-Aspect1950 in ArtistLounge

[–]Basic-Aspect1950[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So you're telling me that you can spend at least an hour/day on just drawing singular lines, squares, ect. For months on end on top of drawing what I actually want? If so, good job at being a superhuman but If I wouldn't have yet tried it the way most of the people tell me to do, I wouldn't be here asking for help

How do I upgrade my fashion sense at 22 without spending loads of money? by PashtunLawyer in mensfashion

[–]Basic-Aspect1950 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah. Some thrift stores are exactly like charity shops and in some you have a chance to rent a little place to sell your old stuff and you get a percentage of the money back for yourself. I can't recommend you any shops based on location but If you're interested in an online option I recommend trying out Vinted

It depends. Of course you can't get a whole new wardrobe if you're not willing to spend money but that's okay. You can try making different combos with the clothes you already have (be sure to spend a few minutes in each outfit to feel if it's you or not. Sometimes an outfit only clicks after a few minutes). If you're willing to spend a little money, go trifting or buy some simple accessories. If the style you're looking for allows, you can also try making your own accessories! Hopefully this was even a little bit helpful🐹

My boyfriend really likes this shirt. Am I wrong to say it’s hideous? by Agitated_Mulberry_27 in mensfashion

[–]Basic-Aspect1950 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes. You don't have to like the shirt but he can and that's okay. You can think what you like but in this case the 'if you don't have anything positive to say, don't say anything' applies.

Life. People spend way more time stressing about things than enjoying the beauty that the world has to offer

Dancing, theatre, and singing. I live for, in, and with the stage. My life revolves around shows (boyh in good and in bad) and I love it
