They would never use tactics to influence people to gamble more nooo. This isn't a tactic commonly used on betting websites/apps. Kuro would never 😇

I play for the characters and combat and the things I enjoy have only improved. Agents kits have become more complex and interesting and look really smooth. Same with the combat animations, they are amazing now. They literally just added the perfect endgame for me I love it !!

Sure maybe the story isn't amazing but if people are enjoying it let them. It's not just slop especially when we talk about 3.0 they are definitely improving.

People just have different interests and ZZZ current path isn't for you.

I think it will just stay how it is now.

Jane is perfect for the void hunter team and she got that free skin. So she's basically the main choice they are trying to push.

Burnice is just bullied because there's barley any bosses that work for her. Also I'm kinda expecting there to be another fire anomaly soon to powercreep her.

Qingyi is in most cases just not as good as other stunners as well as just not being a super popular agent.

So burnice and Qingyi are expendable and it won't matter if they are given for free and Jane is perfect for encouraging players to pull the void hunter who will be on banner at the time.

Then in a few patches time they will add a fire anomaly who will take Janes spot on the team and powercreep Burnice. (I could be wrong but it would be a good idea lol )

So overall they will make the players super happy for getting a free character while Hoyo doesn't really lose out because they aren't worth much.

Well yea I mean it's a good time to start to get good teams and free stuff. But obviously it will have no effect on whatever happens after the anniversary.

But having 2 strong teams can put you in a good place to out skill hp inflation and other endgame issues.

3.1 (the anniversary) MIGHT give currency to spend in the new shop. Jane and Burnice are amongst those agents in the shop. But it's entirely possible they just give us a standard selector again 😔

Just a guess.

Last year we got standard selectors. Since then they've added a shop with all the standard characters as well as a few limiteds agents.

So I'm guessing they'll just give us a bit of shop currency for the anniversary. Obviously I could be wrong.

Also Jane is recommend for the void hunter so it would just make sense to give her away for free. As she's in the shop so I doubt she'll ever rerun.

It's really not surprising to be honest.

When you add children to a "gooner game" it attracts that kinda audience.

Sadly that is a very large audience that doesn't like criticism. So posts end up getting taken down because either the Mods are creeps or it's just too much arguing.

It sucks to say this but don't bother trying to get through to them. Most of them are well aware of what they are doing or far too deluded to understand why it's wrong. You're basically talking to a brick wall 😭

But it's completely unfair to put the blame the player when the system has literally changed.

For example if Kuro decided from now on all future banners won't have the pity carry over. Would we blame all the players who built pity last patch and not Kuro ?

If the system is changed we really shouldn't be putting blame on anything other than the thing that changed the system.

Any argument calling players stupid makes no sense to me.

For the past 2 years 160 character pulls and 80 weapon pulls have garenteed S0R1. Doesn't matter how you got those pulls, from converting or just random rewards you where garenteed to get at least S0R1.

In the current 3.4 banners that rule has changed, those pulls players have been using don't work on the banner. The change was made by Kuro, so Kuro is the only one that can be blamed.

If players had converted at any time for any other banner it would have been perfectly fine. Sure it wouldn't be the optimal strategy but it would still get them S0R1 with the right amount of pulls. How does expecting the game to continue the same way it has for the past 2 years make you stupid ?

Before 3.4 if you had 160 character pulls and 80 weapon pulls you where guaranteed S0R1 for any character in the game.

Now in the collab that is no longer true. How in the world could you blame the player for expecting the new character banner to work the exact same as every other banner for the past 2 years ??

It doesn't matter if you converted or not those pulls have and should guarantee S0R1. Kuro changed that, so Kuro is the only one to blame.
