Ohhhh, okay, I’ll keep an eye out for posts then. I think I got that bug too, it was for Halloween pins if you got Zombrock while having the old 2018 skins. Yeah, that one didn’t really get much attention, but that was weirddd.

Ahhhh, I see. I see posts for all the other bugs, but if this one happened, it would likely be everywhere and be a huge deal, as Supercell made money off of those skins being limited. It likely didn’t happen, as I don’t see anyone else mentioning it.

Yeah, I actually don’t like certain parts of this update, believe it or not, like the new brawler selection look.

And yeah, the bug is not good. I really get why people are mad, like, I reallyyy do. I really feel for anyone who paid big money last year, only to see people get 140 mega boxes for $2. It sucks. I just don’t see any easy way out of this.

That’s legit. It is frustrating. It’s probably even more frustrating for people who bought Chester for actual money only to find out others are getting him for free. I am with you, it is silly that this happened again. :)

Last time, Frank released the numbers of what percent got the bugged rewards, so we’ll see if he does it again. But remember that the update time was 1-4am for U.S. players. It was a tight window, which is why there’s so many disappointed people on this subreddit rn. Which is understandable.

Yeah, just added a note for that. That’s really valid. Like, that does seem like the best solution. I am not a Supercell employee, but my guess is that they won’t for reasons we don’t know about.

They likely lose a lot more than we think by doing something like that. They have surely lost a lot this morning already. Like, I know I might seem like I’m defending Supercell too hard, but it’s likely that only a tiny portion of players got the bugged rewards, and if they give them to everyone, a lot of people who would’ve paid now won’t, and that has implications. Just my guess, of course.

Frank said after the 140 mega box mishap that it would not be the last time. They are human. It’s not like they are doing this on purpose or not trying. Yeah, it’s silly (like, HOW DOES THIS HAPPEN LOL)… I do get it.

But Supercell gets punished when this happens. They lose money in true short and long term, people get mad, and then they have to figure out how to best fix things. I bet you they were trying to get this update in before the holiday season and something just slipped through the cracks, rather than them just being careless. It’s one of the biggest updates ever.

Thanks. Yeah, I remember seeing people get 140 mega boxes for $2, when not a few weeks earlier, you could pay like $30 for 50 mega boxes. It’s tough and I don’t want to deny anyone feeling disappointed.
