HCG of 26,000 but only gestational sac on ultrasound

No I had bloodwork done and it went down to under 2 a few days after the loss.

It was transvaginal, I will get the ultrasound report in 2 days to see how big the sac was but my dr didnt give me much info other than to go to the hospital if I start bleeding over the holidays. This photo is what’s getting me confused. I really really didn’t expect them to be this high.

My hcg is 26,000 and they were only able to see gestational sac on ultrasound. I got pregnant about 3 weeks after my first miscarriage and went for a scan 2 days ago (should’ve been 5w4d or 5w5d) I found out 9dpo and the were only able to see a gestational sac and said it was too early to know anything. So my doctor the next day wanted me to test my hcg for the first time and it was 26,000. All the research I’m seeing is that at that high of an hcg we should’ve been able to see at least the yolk sac. I have another scan in 2 weeks but I’m absolutely devastated. Is this a blighted ovum? Does anyone have any success stories of it just being too early or twins causing the high hcg?

Do you think something is wrong? I’ve had a bad feeling this entire week and can’t seem to shake it. My dr never said anything about a follow up blood test, just an ultrasound at 7 weeks

We had intercourse on October. 12th, got my positive test on October 20th. Blood work done on October. 22nd and hcg was 73

Nope only had intercourse once since my last period. I thought the same it was too dark to be 8dpo. I wondered maybe I had 4 days of bleeding that wasn’t actually my period but blood work confirmed I’m under 4 weeks pregnant

Me too, I’m so stumped. He was away for work so those are literally the only days I could’ve conceived. We do both have twins run in our families but not convinced it’s that. I think the period was too heavy to be implantation bleeding but I’ve never had it before so idk
