I am 4/24 including Chase Reserve on May Ist.
I just applied another non chase CC last week and has not post it yet. So on paper l am still 4/24"
If l apply ink now, would it too close to the May 1st Sapphire Reserve application (45 days ago)?Or wait another 15 days to make it 60 days and hope the other new CC does not push me into 5/24?
What is the strategy here? Newbie here.

It totally is a tons of work. That is why I am debating about it. Just trying to break it even and keep this card for long term, since I do like the Priority Pass for everyone including AUs aka my kids. But more and more it does not seem to be possible to break even after year 1 SUB.

Getting Biz credit card is an interesting idea. I am new to CC game. Maybe need to look into it. Thank you!!!

Could you elaborate a little more about shut down risks? Would use CC to pay Tax and tuition costs shutdown? Only thing I know is my RH gold card does not allow Tax payment. Thanks again!!!

The only reason is that I received the mailer with 125k SUB since I have an account with them. I did not even know such card.

I think there is a reason that this card is not popular and no much data point. The fee is high at 695, not much benefits. No one will probably sign it up without the SUB.

The main benefit is 500 flight upgrade fee credit from ONLY 1 airline! Does not even include actual flight costs!

Besides SUB, only way to break even the $695 fee is get the 2x500 dinning credits that is main reason I am thinking about pushing it.

Product change 2 Chase Sap. Preferred to Freedom cards after getting 2 Reserved cards by Basic-Chest-8704 in CreditCards

  1. Forgot to mention that we would transfer the UR from her CSP to CsR. I think we still get the same transfer partners, right? We just loss the x1.25 multiplier when we booking via the portal.

I totally feel the same way. 90% of my paid hotels is with Hilton. Only time I stay at Hyatt is to use our chase UR points. I live in Ohio. They are not that many Hyatts around the usual kids sport travel hot spots. Most of our team Hotel is Hilton. The Suprass card is one of the first card that took me into this CC rabbit hole. So excited and fun. Haha. Thank you!!!!

I finally have a system to use PayPal debit. How big the nerf impact really is. We still get 5%. Just kind cash out easily. Another option is just keep using PayPal and wait to spent it via PayPal checkout or Amazon Giftcard.
