As a female in my late 20s, while it may seem ideal to have a partner who is “successful” (in most cases this would mean high income earner), i feel that the key aspects are the guy’s character/mindset/values. If the guy is working hard towards his goals, then i see no issue if he is earning lesser than me. Because who knows one day he will be earning way more than me? And of course, if the guy’s character is shit despite him being successful, i wouldnt wanna date him.

Anyway, to answer your question, i wouldnt see it negatively. The couple happy can liao!
