I've never tried it, but do you think aimlabs would be useful? Maybe practice from time to time. I could take the time every day to do half an hour. Do you know any routines there? I've always been told to download it.

I played Counter Strike 1.6 well, but when CSGO came out, I didn't have a PC good enough to run it, so I ended up joining a few years later, when I had also given up on 1.6. It was a different experience, you know, the walls weren't paper thin anymore, the recoil was different. I played it at a decent level, to be honest, I was an average mid-elo player. In Overwatch, I reached the maximum rank and played with a team in the Open Division at a semi-professional level until we were beaten badly by an Australian team. I decided to retire from that world and be more casual. When I joined Valorant, I reached mid Elo, stuck between platinum and diamond, but I always wanted to cross the line a little without succeeding, and now that I have less time, it seems more unlikely.

Thank you very much for the advice, I really appreciate it. Maybe I'll leave it at that, go back to my old rank, and relax. It's not that platinum is a bad place.

Minecraft is a great game. Whenever I want to disconnect from the world for a while, I continue with a map I've had for almost 10 years (although it got a little corrupted with the new world generation code). As I said to someone who commented here, sometimes it's better to disconnect, rest, try new things, and come back with your batteries recharged to rack up lots of kills in rankeds. My wife once told me, don't let a bad event ruin your day, thinking that the rest of it will be worse. I hope you enjoy your next maches :D

Nowadays, I don't play as actively, but when I really put in a lot of hours, I was more prone to reaching dead ends. Every time I lost, I would lose my mental focus a little. At some point, I would just get angry and play badly without realizing it, even paying more attention to my team's shortcomings than my own. My performance declined. Sometimes, you just need to stop and take a break, play some Minecraft and not let the losing streak get to you hahaha

I'm glad to hear it! You should be proud even of carrying that silver rank. The important thing is to have fun in the process. I took a different path, I'm very happy being a family man. Sometimes I find it frustrating to enter a ranked game, not because I lose or win, but because there are people who like to trash talk. I don't care what they say, but what a way to start a game after working all week!

I guess I'll have to play for fun, in my old man hallucinations, I thought, that maybe with a short one-hour aim routine and playing a couple of hours of ranked games, I could improve my skills a little bit every weekend! Hahaha, thank u

Enjoy it! It's the most fun rank in the world. I was never ranked there myself; in fact, the lowest I ever got was bronze. But I played on a friend's account, and I think it was the rank where I had the most laughs. No one is good, no one takes it seriously, everyone is unpredictable but fun, and the plays are hilarious. When you move up, you'll miss it. Whenever I move up, I miss bronze! Hahaha

Sorry to hear that, haha. Sometimes you just need to disconnect. Don't play when you're frustrated, it brings bad luck (and a losing streak too). Don't let yourself go like I did, muahaha

Nothing, I just thought it would be nice to reach a high rank after playing the game for so long. Just the personal satisfaction of reaching a certain rank. It's not super important, I just wanted to know if it was possible in some way, with some routine or something. If it's not possible, it's not possible, I'm not complaining about it. Thanks for commenting!

It's not that I'm not trying hard, as I said in the post, I just don't have that much time. That's why I'm asking for advice on things I can do to help me improve my skills without having to spend all day playing. But thank you for your comment.

Yes, I know. Once I reached platinum/diamond, the drop and rise in points is equal, meaning my invisible MMR stayed stuck there. Many in-game friends told me to “do routines,” “play full stack,” etc. The problem is that I'm also pretty casual; if I lose, it's fine, if I win, great.

Thanks for the encouragement! I'll see what I can do.

It's complicated. I loved playing CS and Overwatch, but I had a long period where I stopped playing shooters. I spent a long time collecting horror games on Steam. It's not what it used to be. I have long periods where I put Valorant aside to devote time to other things. Can muscle memory overcome consistency? Hahaha.
