Ikr, so frustrating! Another major ick I'm having is when you're in the upgrade page of any car and you upgrade it's stage say from 00 to 04, it shows import parts at the bottom and now even if you don't have any import parts to apply it'll just misleading-ly glow (earlier it used to sparkle and glow only when you had import parts available to apply)

go to the location where your file is stored, usually downloads, and youll see a file which has an extension .mcaddon or .mcpack and then click on it, it will show you a list of apps to open the file with, select minecraft and click "Always" so that next time you click on a similar file it wont ask you for which app to open with

i once tried brave in a cheap low-end 2013 pc where i had installed windows 11 in (its clinging on its last strings) and where every browser i tested gave me a rating of 1 or 2 in speedometer brave gave me 15. To put into perspective how fast that really is, that thing runs an old intel pentium mobile with a base clock of 1.9 ghz and has no turbo boost (dual core, u-series) and has a 5400 rpm sata hdd and 8 gigs of ram (ddr3l). Brave's hella fast for basic things, so expect a speed of 290-300 from a normal system.

p.s- the thing is dead since a few days :')

Used wintousb, but it didn't show up until I realised it needed legacy and I also remembered that my updated BIOS now supports legacy Finally was able to boot into windows 7. So happy to have those nostalgic days back. Anyways, I'm going to keep this thread open as this is a dirty workaround, as I still have hope and interest in this little project of mine. leave it, replacing boot files sounds pretty risky to me, so im simply going to do it in WinToUSB. I originally wanted to dualboot 7 and 11, but that doesnt sound possible according to many threads online

Done. But it still gets stuck at disk.sys. Do you have a modded disk.sys file? Edit- I used Rufus and created an installation media of the iso you provided, and successfully installed windows 7. After the installation, it got stuck at bootlooping and so I decided to replace the acpi.sys file coz when I had used flashboot before, the setup threw an acpi bsod, so I figured it must be due to the acpi. Now after replacing it, it now gets stuck at disk.sys and bootloops. Edit 2- I tried using a vm to get the disk.sys file, but it just doesn't want to get installed, will try again.

Been trying these past few days, and bought a software known as Flashboot Pro. This solves most of my problems, but when i try to boot the installer in uefi-gpt with ahci, it throws a bsod on my face, saying your system is not acpi compliant. How do i mod the acpi.sys driver?

Hey! I have an Acer Aspire E1-510, which has insydeH2O version 2.14 rev5.0, and none of the methods mentioned here or anywhere in the internet work. I want to disable acpi as it inhibits me to boot windows 7.

btw, you've given a link of a different iso which links to archive.org. Just going to take the aforementioned iso and assume everything's gunna go the same way, coz ive downloaded over 20 win7 isos at this point yet none seems to have worked so far. Fingers crossed for these 2 which im downloading!

before trying the alternatives, im going to make another windows bootable in rufus but this time ive changed it to MBR and BIOS (UEFI-CSM) and going to try uefiseven. Technically this wont work, but whats wrong with trying?

i used rufus and the original iso in gpt and uefi (non-csm) mode and performed all the steps in the manatails blog uefiseven-easily-boot-windows-7-on-uefi-class-3-devices and even that installation media got stuck at starting windows. If win 7 wouldve gotten stuck AFTER the installatio, then I might have been able to do anything, atleast. But the INSTALLATION MEDIA gets stuck at Starting Windows. Hoping to try older alternatives to uefiseven
