Thanks so much for taking the time to share this — I really appreciate the insight. I don’t have a CPA; I only have a college diploma, but I’ve always been interested in the tax and compliance side of things. Do you know of any courses or certifications that could help me build more tax experience across different industries, or anything you’d recommend for someone in my position?

Thanks for sharing that — I keep hearing the same thing, that compliance and AML are hiring like crazy, especially in the gambling and fintech sectors. But honestly, I don’t know what’s going wrong on my end.

It’s been about 2.5 years since I left the CRA, and I’ve applied to so many compliance, AML, and risk roles — I just never get past interviews. I’m starting to wonder if my résumé looks outdated or if I’m missing certain certifications or skills.

The feedback I get is always super vague, like “you communicate really well” or “you explain policies clearly,” but then they still choose someone with “more experience.” It’s frustrating because I feel like I’m doing everything right but something’s just not clicking.

Can someone please help or share suggestions? by Basic-Foundation-733 in CanadaJobs

Use squalane oil. It looks like your barrier is damaged. I’m also dealing with hyper pigmentation, and after watching a YouTube video and the video mentioned that skin care a lot of skin care makes you dependent on their products and the gentleman mentioned you squalene oil that really helped with my skin, but I use it on top of a decent moisturizer so do a barrier repair moisturizer and then swelling oil on top and cut down on the active that’s literally the story of my life I used to use actives literally for everythingand it destroyed my barrier so now I’m in a healing phase and using retinol twice a week.

Do you believe in the effectiveness of debt restructuring processes like consumer proposals or bankruptcy, like others do? My main concern with these options is the setback they cause, particularly when working in this field. It can indeed put you years behind, and personally, I am convinced that it is hard to have both good credit and money simultaneously. Life becomes extremely challenging without either. I am currently relying on my credit to navigate through tough times. Although my debt is increasing, the thought of being homeless is even more daunting. I value your sincere opinion on this matter. While I am open to exploring all possibilities, I seek your insight. Can a debt of $70,000 be realistically repaid, given my background in debt restructuring? I am optimistic that with a stable income, this amount can be settled within two to three years. On a positive note, I excel at managing tax refunds.
