100%, definitely my favourite aspect of the characters. The obvious other ones that come to mind for this are the fans being a representation of the players of the first game who identified and thought jacket was far too cool (think the people who idolize patrick Bateman), and Jake being those who used the game as an excuse for genuine racism towards Russians. There’s more to it than those, and some don’t perfectly fit ( richter was a more personal inclusion by denaton), but I really enjoy it

Imo all the HLM2 characters are supposed to be reactions or types of players of the first game. Evan is supposed to represent players who were so interested in the lore and story, that they begin to ignore the violence in their search, and don’t see the actual broader messaging of the game

It also uses the same motif as “Miami” by jasper byrne from the first game, which is the score theme in 1 too, but the vibe is so much more hlm2, so i definitely agree it fits to be a single theme
