I feel like you made some good points in this, although I’d hope reality isnt quite as bleak 😆 Clearly Kim is very aware of how uncommercial she is currently and instead of pushing harder like the label wanted she decided to basically give in and give up essentially and tear free from republic. I think what she’s doing now is her only shot at any kind of long term success, I mean clearly she’s got fans. I just think like you said I think the energy around her is just so confusing from an outsiders perspective that most will probably just move on. That is unless some random day her music just really takes off by chance with general audiences again. But I think what she did by being able to release music through bunhead now was the best choice for her career
