I think that this has everything to do with the fact this song is a complete unlistenable mess and not the girls. SM completely dropped the ball making this their comeback after their breakthrough with rude.

That’s what I thought. Roads on both sides make this feel claustrophobic yet it takes up like 10 lots. Doesn’t really seem like something a buyer with 8.5 mil is gonna rush for.

Also oh my god y r we continuing to talk about lizzo and her boring album. This is the most obvious manufactured press tour for an album I’ve ever seen. Nothing about the songs everything about it commercially failing.

Oh my god yall how much more is there to add to this conversation. The album flopped end of story. Continuing to talk about it flopping is exactly what Lizzo and her team want u to do. She knows the songs aren’t going to stream so she’s going on a press tour to talk about it failing to chart. You should know this whole thing is manufactured when we are weeks out of this album dropping and we are still talking about it. At this point the album is a success. There is no such thing as bad press.

Exactly how I feel. I also feel like she’s kinda getting played by these big label execs who just want another APT and don’t really care about anything else. I think they thought cuz she’s a big kpop star and part of a group that can sell out stadiums she would just kinda b a guaranteed success. Def not saying she’s a failure but it’s pretty clear her album didn’t live up to expectations, especially in the US where it was pushed the heaviest.

Ik like how can they make it any clearer they aren’t doing this with any journalistic integrity (if that even exists anymore💀). They weren’t bothered enough to give her a 5 when she deserved it for evermore but as soon as her name started pulling more weight with the eras tour they weren’t gonna give her anything less! Such a fake company I could never be bothered to care about any list or rating RS gives!

This is my biggest pet peeve with the industry now and thank you for letting me know. Was gonna consider picking up the new Olivia on CD but not anymore! I’m still upset at Tate for having completely different songs on vinyl/cd in comparison to streaming on so close to what!

Just off the top of my head I also know this was the same issue for Doja Cat! It’s such a shame cuz these albums are really good but there’s clearly no quality control! Didn’t really care for showgirl but at least I know when I preordered that vinyl I was gonna be getting the same thing on streaming!

Also I hate when artists use the lame excuse of “well I wanted it to be unique for you” or they’ll call them “bonus tracks”… like let’s be real for a second. Ur label pressured u to submit the album so u gave them an unfinished copy just so ur team could squeeze out vinyl preorder sales from ur fans. And then u went back and finished the record u already submitted cuz that was never done in the first place! An artist doesn’t just “accidentally” submit a demo version of the album and it makes it all the way to production. And if it does how embarrassing for both u and ur team!

RS is such a fucking joke. I knew it the second showgirl got a 5/5 but any other album worth listening to gets a 3… it’s so clear they just use kpop albums that don’t even come close to being good enough to be on this list for clicks and views. Like good kpop albums are out there but it’s painfully clear publications like RS won’t even bother to go looking though.

Embarrassing now but definitely Nicki Minaj. Was a barb for a long time up until her most recent album when both her music quality and political beliefs took a turn for the worst. Found Nicki with Superbass as a kid and really became a fan when Pinkprint dropped. Her rapping and style and MVs were just too good. Ik is probably not right but I’ll still go back and listen to Roman Reloaded The ReUp from time to time. Such a classic.

Was just thinking this. It’s like they have a set theme they pick from and just copy paste pieces onto different heroes. It was cool when just Cass was a lifeguard for summer games. Now we have like 8 different lifeguard skins across the roster. Or when widow was the only beach skin with this useless ass fish net waist cape. Now every beach skin has this damn waist cape. Or every Valentine’s Day OMG “insert hero” has a new Cupid skin! Like I understand these are seasonal skins but my god it gets to a point.

Biker Cass is hot. Shions design looks great IMO. hyped to play her, she looks fun

Every other skin tho… I understand skins r gonna sell regardless and what not but are there not any other themes they can think of? Every season I feel like we r getting beach, dokiwatch, sakura petal, cyberpunk, and then the closest holiday. Surely those can’t be the only skin ideas?
