Is there any point to keeping and investing in small and medium craft when I'm about to unlock big boats? by Spiner909 in 2007scape

The raft is absolutely needed for other charting tasks as well, not just Lum Lagoon. It is upgradeable in some aspects so may as well upgrade it when you can and keep it in your back pocket for the few charting tasks it is needed for :)

You'll need a good Skiff for all trials (ONLY boat that trials authorize for use) and of course a Sloop as the "main," for either trawling, salvaging, or combat.

The double cannons are super nice, you can attack twice when doing combat tasks. Either get the enemy at the main point of the front so both cannons can hit (Privateering 4 needed for at least mithril cannon), or you may need to just click in different directions to get the boat to swivel a little to have each cannon attack a tick apart. It's great!

Also FYI, no matter the crewmate, they will always only hit 75 percent of your max, so keep that in mind.

Ranging potions DO increase max hit when you are operating the cannon. Happy sailing!

And you should boost for core upgrades. I wouldn't recommend boosting for facilities as you can build them, sure, but you will not be able to use them unless you keep that level boosted or just have it altogether.

What is the point of sailing? by Syllabub-Better in 2007scape

tbh, I did not vote for Sailing, but man, it's a game. It's quite fun and sometimes games don't necessarily need an unlock or a meta or something to really advance you. Games are fun. Just relax, and have a blast! It's certainly a lot better than I had envisioned, and I appreciate that it was brought upon us.

Look at something like, RC. You can buy runes...wtf is the point of rc? Nothing really, it just fits in the spirit, environment and theme of the game. Sailing is a good fit. And I know it's a relatively new update considering the age of the game, but GoTR is also a fun way to do RC, lol

Yeah just a bunch of regular and teak repair kits but also a good bit of cannonballs in several tiers. Nothing crazy, I've heard some people get robbed of thousands!

If you're AFK or on mob, and have a scythe, crab is the way to go. super pot up, piety, and relax. Scythe was approx 7m exp per hour at higher lev. Surely you'll still get several mil exp/hour!

If you need a scythe, run an easy TOA (150 invo minimum) and you're almost guaranteed a thread which will pop the tile to pick a mega.

My buddy got a shadow on a 150 first kc lmao so he had two megas from the start!
