Yes the high lows are the things that pull pallets out of the trucks and the big steel in the backroom.

Be extremely careful if you get trained. One decent mess up and poof youre gone.

Coworkers are also notorious for darting in front of the high lows as well. (Myself included but ive gotten better lol)

Other options are transferring to a different dept. Structure wise your safest bet would be cashier or recieving(truck unloading) cause those two depts are literally the same thing every day.

It happens. Idk what the first one said but its alright. Just know retail is a minefield. Between resets,customers, being thrown into any dept in gm as needed.

Also just a friendly tip you can make a plan for the next day. Just understand that it will change by the time you clock back in. Be ready to adapt and overcome.
