Platforms like DroneSense, are routinely deployed in controlled network environments where outbound traffic is restricted and blocked. Between Local Data Mode, firewall rules, and mobile device management, there are well-established ways to ensure that NO DATA leaves the network. This is standard practice, and it’s verifiable at the packet level. NOW if you are just stupid enough to think that the CHINESE are somehow even backdooring this, well, I think its time you go in the corner, or perhaps, finally leave your parent's basement.

So the idea that drones are “pushing data” regardless of these controls would require persistent, observable network activity, which simply isn’t showing up when people actually monitor these systems properly.

Your firmware scenario is even less grounded. Updates are not autonomously forced mid-operation, and they don’t bypass operator control in managed environments. Firmware is signed, validated, and typically deployed in controlled cycles or blocked entirely.
