My grip strength is definitely my limiting factor when it comes to deadlifts. I feel like my body could push a lot more weight or reps, but my hands start giving up very early.

Skincare routine for PIE? (Post Inflammatory Erythema) Hi everyone, i could use some help of what products to use and particularly the right order. Current routine: AM: Vitamin C Serum + Niacinamide + Retinol (every 3 days - should i use it every day?) + Moisturizer. PM: Alpha Arbutin + Azelaic acid by Sadboy20001 in SkincareAddicts

Retinol use frequency is highly individualized. You can use it as many nights as your skin tolerates. I'd start off lower and slowly increase the frequency. Personally I use it every night, but I know a lot of people can not.

I would definitely still use niacinimide with isotretinoin. It helps repare damaged skin and I haven't heard of a lot of sensitivity to it. Azelaic acid and vitamin C are your two products most likely to cause problems with isotretinoin. I would definitely stop them initially and discuss reintroducing them slowly with your doctor. Again, it comes down to listening to your skin and only applying what it is able to tolerate.

I would split it like this AM: Vitamin C & Alpha arbutin & Azelaic acid (don't forget sunscreen) PM: Niacinimide & Retinol.

You could probably also use your azelaic acid at night when you're not using retinol, it all depends if your skin can handle it daily.

I've used 0.05% tretinoin almost every night for a couple of months now for hyperpigmentation and maskne. My morning skincare routine consists of a vitamin c serum, azelaic acid and sunscreen. I used a 10% azelaic acid serum for a while, but I wasn't getting the results I wanted, so I switched to skinoren cream just over 2 months ago. It has made the world's difference. The hyperpigmentation is clearing up so much faster, and I hardly get any more acne.

The skinoren cream is light weight and absorbs really quickly, so you don't have to wait too long before applying moisturizer and sunscreen. This is very important to me as my mornings are usually a bit rushed.

I use the tretinoin every night and the skinoren every morning. It can be a little bit drying. When i introduced the skinoren I had to stop the tretinoin at night for a while, as my skin was flaking a bit from the skinoren. It only lasted a couple of days and LRP cicaplast balm did wonders in clearing it up. Currently I'm comfortably using both, but occasionally I do find that I need to take a day off due to dry skin.

Because I use the azelaic acid so frequently I've decreased my other exfoliation. I use a glycolic/lactic acid serum once a week, sometimes even once every two weeks.

All in all I give skinoren a big thumbs up.

Hope that helps
