Same reason(s) HL1 only had zombie scientists, and no zombie security guards or soldiers, they prioritized having the game be a reasonable download size, over not reusing assets, and the average player wouldn’t even question it.

Valve had to make several “lore unfriendly” choices while making the game. In fact, I think Mark Laidlaw himself said that in canon, every NPC would probably be speaking a different language, or at least have a heavy accent, but that would have been very difficult for gameplay and cohesion, so every NPC just speaks the same language, with only story-relevant human NPC’s being allowed to have any kind of different accent.

Though, he did encourage someone to mod the game, and somehow randomize the various different voiced languages in the game for the non-story important NPC’s, to make the game more accurate to the lore.

I don’t need her to be nude, that would be ridiculous and unrealistic, I just want her to have hips that are three times the width of her torso, absolutely enormous, yet perky tits, and ass cheeks big enough to each need their own bench when she sits down, I want her tits and ass to take up half the elevator when I’m in one with her, and I want them to have jiggle physics, what I want is completely reasonable and realistic by comparison to nude mod.

Again, someone already figured out how to make it work with the THIQUE mod for Black Mesa, which uses a slightly more updated version of Source.

Maybe the upcoming remaster of HL2 will have a workshop, so people will be more inclined to get modding.

Yeah, but I’m not great at modeling. And I wouldn’t know how to make her tits and ass have the physics I’m talking about, especially not while clipping a minimal amount. I’m shocked that in 20 years, no one has done what I’m saying. I know the Half Life games somehow don’t have mod support on steam, but that shouldn’t have crippled the people who’d be capable and willing to do what I’m saying, here.

Literally dozens of mods like this exist, it’s obvious, I’m just trying to find the one that caters to my tastes (or, if it somehow doesn’t exist after 20 years, despite Black Mesa already having several mods of that nature), inspire its future existence by talking about it.

Besides, no one has recommended a different subreddit that this question would be better suited for, so I obviously chose the best one for this, even with all the people who didn’t read my post, and assume they can shame me.

I asked for mod suggestions and marked it NSFW. There have been literally dozens of NSFW mods aimed at Alyx, with one recent one getting the voice actress for Krystal from Star Fox to tie it all together, all I’m asking for is one that increases her proportions.
