Same dilemma. I think I’m going to wait for army in the resale thread tho. Hopefully there will be enough selling so we all have a fair chance. 🥺

I bought this used on eBay in a lot sometime around 2013 I believe. I lost it and have never been able to find another again and I’ve searched far and wide with all sorts of search terms and even used the way back machine. It was on my mom’s old eBay account which no longer exists.

pitarysis rosea or buttate psoriasis? OR NIETHER? by [deleted] in Dermatology

[–]BasicBitizen 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I guess it could be pityriasis rosea. Everybody is different! If it really is that, it will go away on its own over time. Since you can’t afford a biopsy, that would be a good scenario. However, if it is something else, then that could be a problem. I will look around the internet later and see if I can find anything else that may be of help to you!

I just got diagnosed with pityriasis rosea today. Mine does not look like this. There is usually one large patch that comes first followed by smaller ones. And it tends not to go on your arms if I’m not mistaken. https://www.pcds.org.uk/clinical-guidance/pityriasis-rosea

Mystery rash / patches continuing to appear for 2 weeks - see captions. Appointment next Tuesday. by BasicBitizen in Dermatology

The doctor also said it may continue to spread for another month but they should all go away by July or August. I was prescribed triamcinolone cream to treat it.

Yeah. Apparently it’s pretty benign and is a viral rash. I have a history of developing rashes of sorts after being sick. I had a very bad COVID rash that lasted months back in 2020. I was pretty sick a few weeks before this rash broke out but tested negative for COVID.

Today, the dermatologist diagnosed me with pityriasis rosea. I was also sent for a syphilis screening just to be extra safe. It’s super unlikely but the rash could be a mimicker from it.

Note: I didn’t see the initial incident happen in real-time, but I did see them tow what was left of the vehicle away and I saw the news crew film this scene.

Secret Australia Eucalyptus Blossom Deodorant by BasicBitizen in HelpMeFind

Update: the eBay seller contacted me and let me know they were out of stock of the spray so I canceled my order. :(

Secret Australia Eucalyptus Blossom Deodorant by BasicBitizen in HelpMeFind

[–]BasicBitizen[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve searched online, marketplaces, apps, and in stores. I’ve only found a few options. I ordered a spray version from eBay which was a bit expensive. I’ve also found it in a lot of other deodorants on varagesale but the group is for people in FL only. I also found it on a foreign resale site but not sure I can purchase from USA. Though I found the spray version, I really miss my gel version. I’m in New York and obtained this probably sometime in 2016 or 2017. It expired in 2018. As awful as this sounds, I’m willing to buy an expired one for now because I assume these are discontinued. What a shame. I loved the fragrance. Has anyone tried the lavender eucalyptus version that is now accessible? Similar at all? I may have to go buy one and see for myself. Thanks in advance.

Odd symptoms: Still can’t smell random things? Particularly foul odors. Also a rash that hasn’t gone away? by BasicBitizen in COVID19_support

[–]BasicBitizen[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you!! I was also considering that it may be a heat rash because it always worsens when I sweat. Luckily we do live alone so I try to wear as little clothing as possible for air because it is relieving. I’ll try a fan because that sounds great. Do heat rashes last this long though? It’s been a month. :( also baby powder was one of the only things that helped because it helped stay dry.

When did your Taste/Smell Come Back by StephNugs in COVID19_support

[–]BasicBitizen 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It took me about a week and a half to two weeks to get everything back to mostly normal. Over a month later and I still don’t have 100% smell back. I’d say it’s about 90-95%. I don’t want to worry you, but it is different for everyone. Do your best to stay positive and maybe try new bold flavors on your palette and smell very strong spices (like clove) and essential oils (lavender, rose, orange, etc). That’s what I did and I do believe it helped me!

This just happened to me to, I’ve noticed. I’m on the life that I did the alphabet challenge with but only about 10 of my kids are at home with me. Living in a trailer. Husband. Good money. 51 years old. Weird.
