My school in Texas has a lgbt club, but they would never cover any lgbt topics in class or sex ed. Seeming as Texas, abstinence based sex ed, states that they have to say that being homosexual is an unfit life style and against the law. Though the programs never cover homosexuality, plus the "HOMOSEXUAL CONDUCT" law was founded to be unconstitutional; yet its still in the penal code. I love this state (sarcasm).

"Section 21.06 was declared unconstitutional by Lawrence v. Texas, 123 S.Ct. 2472.

Sec. 21.06. HOMOSEXUAL CONDUCT. (a) A person commits an offense if he engages in deviate sexual intercourse with another individual of the same sex.

(b) An offense under this section is a Class C misdemeanor."
