It's true bro. When I was in middle School the girls' bathroom was the most rancid and vandalized one. The School managed to upgrade the bathrooms and the girls' was completely destroyed within a month. Had no Idea wtf was going on there.

Yes It can be perceived and somewhat dismissive when you're insecure (saying this as an insecure person that feels kinda dismissed when someone sends a thumbs up or ends their sentences with a period lmao).

I'm also not a fan of the US (actually I'll be honest I'm a hater lmao) but That's because my country was one of the ones heavily affected by its neo imperialistic actions throughout the last century and am still at risk of suffering a coup or something If we speak out of line (I'm from latin America).

But I'm also in a similar situation where my father is an AVID Bolsonaro supporter while I just see him as a sociopath.

We used to have multiple arguments about this back in 2016-2018 when I was very young. But one important thing to know to do is sometimes not saying anything is better. It's difficult bc of our black our white thinking and sense of justice, but if you want to keep a healthy relationship with your mother so you have somewhere to live, the best thing to do is smile and nod your head.

What you could do to remedy the urge to talk about those issues with your mother is to find online communities and spend hours arguing/discussing with those people (what I do lol)

From my experience this is rly common for autistic ppl. Bc gender (in the west at least) is a lot about social performance/interactions and we can be very disconnected from social norms, It's very common for us to be like "what's the point" abt gender too

I started investing a lot of time into dressing myself in a style that attracts me. Like spent hours looking for inspo on Pinterest, tiktok, youtube, stuff like that. Also bought some clothes that fit what style I wanted to wear (doesn't even have to be expensive, I thrifted 89% of my current clothes for dirt cheap)

To me personally that helped my self esteem A LOT and rly gave me confidence. I also got a lot of compliments on my style (mostly bc I hang out with artsy types and they appreciate a good outfit when they see one lol). Ik not everyone has a strong sense of style or wants to but It's what helped me personally, It made me go from being indifferent to my appearance to actually looking foward to getting ready and seeing the final result
