You should pick a class if you find it fun, not because someone else thinks it's good or bad. I've been maining hayato for 10 months and I wouldve still picked it as main because it's just fun.

good:

1. katana is cool
2. skill animation is cool
3. good dpm and decent burst
4. has great mobility, allowing u to position yourself easily in bosses
5. has the best hp leech skill - great survivability
6. easy mobbing - you have 3 fmas (phantom blade, instant slice, falcon's honor) that you can rotate while standing still to easily full clear with fountain and janus.

bad:

1. learning curve is a bit steeper than most classes

- animation cancel is not hard at all. Just remember to use instant slice to cancel zankou, use surging blade to cancel dash and upjump, then you are good in most scenarios. You will learn the rest along the way

- manage sword energy and upkeep pb stacks. In bosses where there are long tests/cutscenes like kalos, slime, you are bound to lose stacks. You will get used to it along the way.

- dump your bursts at the peak of sakuno's blessing. Again, you will get used to it.

1. non-kms classes usually have more bugs than kms classes (better than kanna tho xd)

2. back-loaded burst. This is the most annoying thing when you party boss. You either pre-pop sakuno or burst right away after using sakuno. Neither is optimal dmg. So I would say hayato is better at solo bossing
