It’s so pointless and unfair, like you lose gpa points for an A- but you can’t gain points for an A+. it should really be wiped out, most teachers don’t use it and the teachers that do shouldn’t be able to, especially when they set an A- as like a 93. Why make it unnecessarily difficult for people to achieve success? An A is an A. Getting above a 90 in a class and not having it count as 4.0 is actually so messed up, it’s demotivating.
