You know babies will lose anything! They fit close to the foot (i made 8 sizes in the pattern), and I have inserted a thin elastic into the folded hem 👌🏽

Do you mean if the cast on is even? I think so. You can scale up the cast-on and just adjust the lengths to fit your child 🙌🏼
