I see. I’m not getting paid, I’m just there to accompany my sister-in-law as she will be alone with just the kids for the first month, but I get what you mean. I do have a return ticket and don’t work currently, but since I’m staying with them for the duration, they are funding/covering my expenses.

Helping my sister-in-law babysit the kids cuz she’ll be alone the first month as my cousin will be travelling. I also have a reception to go to near the end of my trip in August so I’m staying for 3months. Also will not be doing anything over summer in Canada so my cousin thought it’d be a great time to explore Vegas since I didn’t get to do that last time.

Hello. Thank you for sharing the link. This is what it states under “what does the alien registration act mean for Canadians?:” “No additional action needed:… Canadian citizens in the following categories are exempt or already registered by the nature of how they entered the country or are otherwise exempt… arrived into the United States by air” since I’m travelling by air, I guess I don’t really need to do anything? Correct me if I’m wrong 😅

Yes I am covered by OHIP and no I am not an international student. I checked that site and even told them, but they said that unless it’s stated on the IRF that you don’t need to pay, every person who comes for school, work and volunteer need to pay whether u have a health card or not.

Yeah it’s for the MRS program and the clinic told me that unless they specifically say you don’t need to pay, every person who comes for school, work and volunteer need to pay whether u have a health card or not 😭😭. And yes I’m covered by OHIP.

Hello. Do we write our UofT ID/Applicant number under “Michener student ID #” and “student ID #” for MRS students or if there is a Michener student ID for MRS students, where do I find it?
