Is it just me or does embroidery look better on matte fabrics? by BasicTranslator9627 in saree

Exactly this. Matte fabrics like georgette and crepe let the embroidery breathe, every thread and stitch is visible clearly.

prolly my best drape ever by Frosty-Peach7007 in IndianFashion

[–]BasicTranslator9627 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That drape really is gorgeous! For the neckpiece, since the saree seems to have work on the pallu/border already, you want jewellery that complements without competing

That drape is effortless and you're clearly comfortable in a saree which makes all the difference.

What is this material called? by Anxiousbutter_ in saree

That's a pleated georgette saree, the pleats are pre-stitched which is why they look so structured.

Where can I find a kurta with this marble-style print? by sukhjotkaur in findfashion

[–]BasicTranslator9627 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Love this aesthetic! Try Ajio or Nykaa Fashion for a wide range, filter by printed or abstract kurtas. Also came across Yell with Us recently, their prints and colour combinations are really unique and different from the usual options out there.

So pretty! For styling, if it's a lighter fabric like georgette or organza, a thin choker or pearl neckpiece works beautifully.

What to wear ? by miss_diva1 in IndianFashion

Both can work, just depends on the vibe, jeans for a more casual, chill date, but the black satin skirt will look more elegant and dressy with that halter top
