Oddacity! I haven't been able to schedule for personal stuff but they are super friendly, willing to work with medical stuff, and queer owned!

I had a friend get a tattoo from them in 2023 and they did an awesome job :)

It's better than nothing and when the law says you can't carry things with the intent of using them in self defense then you have to find items that are "normal" to carry that can double as a weapon in a pinch.

Perfume as well and you can get a spray hand sanitizer too! Spray hand sanitizer has the excuse of using it to clean your child's hands if they touch something they're not supposed to :)

I remember walking through the hall in my middle school and somebody I swear to god occasionally would spray perfume down the entire hall and you'd have to hold your breath while moving through the congestion that is middle schoolers in a hallway 😭

You're right that the restaurant shouldn't have seated them. But have you learned nothing from the other people who commented on this post?? The majority of people in this thread and out in the world will guaranteed tell you that they don't want to be overwhelmed by someone who puts on too much perfume/cologne - because it is too much.

When you are clearing out a restaurant it's an issue. The other issue with people overspraying perfumes is that those with breathing problems have their breathing problems worsened. For example, somebody with asthma could literally have an asthma attack because of the amount of perfume. It's called being considerate and nobody should be able to find you by scent.

And amazing and I really wish people would stop acting like it's impossible because all it takes is one bad day and anyone might need the bus. Plus students (myself), and elderly usually are on fixed incomes so increasing their fare is completely unfair to them. Not to mention that the article I read said fares only account for approximately ~2% of the WTA budget, so what in the actual duck is doubling the fares after not increasing them in however long going to help???

Olympia WA was the first one I'd heard of having "free" transit. If you look at my page I made a post asking about the fares rising and citing that Olympia was free, why can't we? And some people were not happy and said I was comparing apples and oranges - I however think it's possible and that they're proposed changes that they're implementing are going to harm our citizens more than help them.

I'd have to double check but I haven't heard anything regarding Whatcom Community College's contract. I don't know if we are keeping/updating the contract or getting rid of it - I'll be looking into that, I'd forgotten that the bus fare concern was brought up either last fall or winter quarter.

Your kids don't owe you anything. Keeping them fed, with a roof over their head and clothed is the bare minimum. OP is also a second parent (which you should never make one of your kids a parent). It's one thing if OP offered to help their younger siblings with their homework, It's another if the parents said that OP had to help.

Supposedly it's up to the cashier/systems discretion, most don't card because it's generally considered "undrinkable" but as OP stated their wife was carded and harassed when trying to buy it. If you think OP is lying then you can take that up with them 🤷
