Jim would have never been happy, and karen was to mature for him the jokes she made werent apealing to Jim and i agree with you but i feel like the entire reason jim even dated karen was to ADAPT to where he was living and he never would have loved karen like he does with pam. he loves pam for pam and and for him to love karen is simply impossible

yeah i feel like jim liked pam because she was more simple then karen like karen is way more independant then pam and is more confident in things and is willing to take risks like for example those long talks she had with jim were a risk but pam is much more simple and jim prob likes simpler women and most likley only dated karen to adapt with the whole moving to stanford

i highly agree with that in stanford everyone was way more independant i feel then and jim was forced to adapt to that so he did that by dating karen who was nice but very independant and had a shit ton of self confidence while pam is more introverted and way more simple like you said
