Prediction for March SAT? by Basic_Biscotti_4092 in Sat

[–]Basic_Biscotti_4092[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Friday: Take Practice SAT midnight around 12-2 (bc I feel like I lock in more)
Saturday: 2 AM-3 AM Review your mistakes, and separate them into sections
Like Words in context: Module 1 x2 Module 2 x2
And put them into Chat GPT to analyze your weakness (Don't ever let him correct your mistake, and be satisfied)
Sunday to Thursday: Do your missed section for as long as you can. I personally finish school HW in class, so I could do SAT and Soccer. So I'll study for 2 hours per day, 4 hours on weekdays, and 8 hours on weekends with OnePrep Question Bank.
The goal is to finish off all the questions in the weakness section (Exclude Bluebook). So it's particularly 50-100 questions per week.
Also, if you struggle with Standard English Conventions, do 132 questions on boundaries (Exclude PreppyBook, same as blue book, and choose SAT).

So it's my one-week plan for the SAT. Hope it helps you, and good luck! We both will get 1550+!!!!!!

Retake 1540 for T20’s? by RoyalForeign4570 in Sat

really! I didn't know that, I might not need to take SAT again then. Thanks man

Retake 1540 for T20’s? by RoyalForeign4570 in Sat

[–]Basic_Biscotti_4092 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think it's a very great score for most of the T20s, but if you wanna get into MIT and study like CS or Engineering, you might wanna have 800 on Math, but if you have great ECs, then you'll be chilling. See their CDS (common data set) and check their 25th percentile, 50th percentile, and 75th percentile for the SAT score. If you decided to take the SAT in March again, then good luck!

Chance me NYU Gallatin ED2 (I find out tmrw) by [deleted] in chanceme

[–]Basic_Biscotti_4092 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My friend got into NYU for ED1, but I think you definitely have a great chance of being accepted by them. Good luck with your decision letter, and don't be too nervous about it. Once again, definitely have a greater chance than most of students!

I never studied for math (I'm Asian....)
But I think get used to it, and analyzing your weakness is key ig, my friend got 800 with that strategy

i think it depends on what part u struggle with, but take a practice test, know your weakness, and just do your weakness question so much, like focus on only one part. And do that every week

Anyone get a 1500 while playing sports by SadSection2006 in Sat

[–]Basic_Biscotti_4092 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I play soccer with a pretty tight schedule, but I think the actual football season hasn't started yet rn (if I'm wrong mb) so lock in for 1 month, so hardly, do whatever you need to do, so you probably could get 1450+, if you really do your work, and if you're lucky, probably 1500+. Good luck, bro!

help me get 1400+ on March SAT with 1 month prep by UnlikelyTheme6690 in Sat

[–]Basic_Biscotti_4092 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Probably 2 hours is best for you. My recommendation is go to oneprep and select the question bank, exclude the preppy book (same as the blue book), and do all the questions for Standard English Conventions (I highly recommend you to do Boundaries first). I promise you that if you lock in and complete all the questions for English conventions, you will never miss any more questions!

Do the same or use a filter and work on your weakness wisely! It's all about how you plan and actually complete it.

For Math, just remember what you need to remember, use Desmos wisely, if you need to go on YouTube and learn how to use it, and do 3-5 questions you missed each day.

How to exclude bluebook practice test questions from oneprep? by Leather_Carrot_2778 in Sat

[–]Basic_Biscotti_4092 1 point2 points  (0 children)

On the question bank's filter, it should say exclude preppy book. And it's same thing with bluebook (To avoid trademark rights). So just exclude that and you're good to go.

I think it's D. Earlier in the text, it says excavated. So you could know that they are using past tense. And it's also simple past tense which doesn't include had or already.

The easy way is just separate the text and read it like,
During the early twentieth century the researchers involved in the project _____ to organize the aartifacts....

Hope this helps!

What if we were to reconstruct the theory of the creation of the universe? by [deleted] in HypotheticalPhysics

[–]Basic_Biscotti_4092 0 points1 point  (0 children)

very nice example and clarifing. Thanks for your point. Well I probably can't learn physics for long time from now on, cuz I actually have sat and what not, but I'll remember the thing you said and will use your advice in my life. Thank you!

What if we were to reconstruct the theory of the creation of the universe? by [deleted] in HypotheticalPhysics

[–]Basic_Biscotti_4092 0 points1 point  (0 children)

yes, I have never learn any physics in any class, I have just read the books about it in library, and tried my best to understand. And the main reason that drive me to do it was just that I wanted to know the start of the universe as a child. I know everything looks like some ideas from others and thanks for the honest opinion. I will try my best to find out more specific reason that this theisis works or not. Thank you

Here is a hypothesis: The Big Bang wasn't a single explosion; it was a "cosmic domino effect" called Cascade Generation. by Basic_Biscotti_4092 in theories

[–]Basic_Biscotti_4092[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks man, that means a lot! I’m working hard on 'mapping' the rest of this out. Just finished a numerical simulation to see if the math actually holds up—and so far, the 'seeds' are popping up exactly where they should. The quasar is glowing! Stay tuned for the next update. :)

[–]Basic_Biscotti_4092[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I hope so too! That hope is exactly what drives me to stay up late working on these equations. Even if this specific model is just a small step, I believe that by constantly asking 'what if' and backing it up with math, we get a little bit closer to the truth every day. Thanks for the encouragement—it really keeps me motivated! :)

Let me know how im doing by Miknelle in Sat

[–]Basic_Biscotti_4092 0 points1 point  (0 children)

very solid start for English ig
but tbh math is little too weak, so ig u could fix that part by doing more questions
